Really good stay here. Very helpful at check in and great to have its own car park close by. Had a sea view deluxe room recently refurbished . Very Whitstable and amazing views from the spacious balcony. All mod cons and quiet too. Very good breakfast with scrummy black pudding. Would definitely go back.

Stayed here in Novemeber for a friend's wedding and we had a great time. The room overlooked the sea and it was a lovely view. The staff were friendly and helpful and the dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was super tasty. Would definitely stay here again if we were in Whistable.

We stayed in one of the fishermans huts which are located right on the beach front and about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The hut we stayed in was very cosy, clean and nicely finished. Lots of the huts are dog friendly and all have a fantastic location. The breakfast is served at the hotel and was buffet style... More

How can a hotel in 2016 not have wifi that works. I was told 'its your computer, it needs to be refreshed'. Maybe my phone and iPad needed refreshing too. This is a hotel that caters for weddings. If you are not part of the wedding party then do not stay here. The deluxe room is anything but. It is... More

Stayed in Whitstable for a couple of nights at the Hotel Continental. Our room was small but lovely and clean. What made our stay so good it for us was the friendliness and happiness of the staff! They were a joy to be around. W

Its not always easy to find an affordable hotel in Whitstable of quality - but the Hotel Continental is a gem - I believe it has just been refurbed, they were plain, but in keeping with the beach hut type exterior reminiscent with rest of the sea front area - charming. Rooms were spotlessly clean, my room had a balcony... More

A group of us booked in June to stay in the Fishermans Huts to celebrate a wedding anniversary, payment in advance. On arrival, my husband & I were informed we had been put into the hotel which is a 10 minute walk from the huts. Reason was someone else had booked after us and had a dog. We obviously weren't... This hotel was very welcoming, staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful, full of variety, and most importantly fresh. The room was exceptionally clean and we had a deluxe with sea view (room 10) great to see the whole hotel busy for the first week after Christmas. Whitstable itself on Sunday was buzzing and had a very welcoming atmosphere.... More

This place is essentially my local, so I use it as a bar and restaurant rather than staying as a guest. It has a good location by the beach, a few minutes walk from the high street and close to several attractions (swimming pool, castle, bowling alley). But over the years the quality of food and service has varied from... More

We loved this hotel and cannot understand the negative comments from other reviews, we booked a deluxe double with sea view, a lovely sized room with plenty of storage, well thought out layout , huge bed and stunning view. The style is clean and seaside , really simple and lovely. We slept really well with the sound of the sea... More
