We loved our stay here and can not wait to come back in summer. Great location and lovely decor. Our room was lovely and felt more like a hotel than a B&B. Whitstable is utterly charming. I would highly recommend visiting Jo Jo's in Tankerton for dinner! Tom is a great host and couldn't be more accommodating and welcoming. Thank... More

The Front Rooms is a wonderful place to stay. Lovely and quiet - only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants. The room was great and Tom is a fantastic host. Really enjoyed the breakfast too, which was delivered on a tray to our room. I'de have no hesitation in recommending this as... More

We booked on the look of the rooms and were not disappointed ,it was as beautifully homely as they come ,Tom the host was very friendly and welcoming ,we didn't mind not having a cooked brekky( on booking it was made aware) and the breakfast was filling and professionally presented ,it was too cold for us to sit on the... Generally a nice stay but the mattresses was uncomfortable (we could feel the springs) and no lock on the door. The owner accidentally came into our room and took a little too long to go back out and close the door... a bit awkward and weird why there was no lock! Also our room didn't have a bathroom so we... The Front Rooms is the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment you enter the spacious communal area downstairs, you know that you are not staying in the back room of Mr and Mrs Jones’ house and won’t bump into anyone whilst searching for the loo in the middle of the night….. in fact, you could be forgiven... Host made us very welcome and provided exra heater for our room. Room with balcony but no view worth mentioning. Attractively decorated room but bed small at 4'6" with hollowfibre pillows. No cooked breakfast and bed not made up. What is the point of going away for a weekend if not to have a good fry-up and someone to do... More

We recently stayed at the b&b. Like another reviewer on here, we were unable to find the it at first as there's no signage. Tom the owner is very friendly & hospitable & the b&b is very stylish. However it is very expensive for what you get. We paid £130 for double room (you have to pay in cash) when... More

We've just returned from a 2 night stay at the beautiful front rooms in Whitstable and would recommend it, even in the deepest of winter! The rooms are tasteful and chic and the owner is very friendly. Lots of little touches make it very special and we would definitely go back. We walked to Canterbury and to Faversham and ran... More

Our trip to Whitstable was a short weekend one, a romantic type, where a couple wants to get away from the city noise and spend time together by the sea. We've never been here before and this b&b was recommended to us by a friend. And I can not thank them enough for such a marvellous recommendation. The b&b is... More

We recently stayed at The Front Rooms in Whitstable and had a very enjoyable stay. Julie (the owner) was very welcoming and there were special touches that were done extremely well. We paid extra for the balcony en-suite double and were pleased with it, despite a problem with the decking. It was lovely to enjoy the complimentary cold mini-bottle of... More
