Stayed here for an anniversary night away & it couldn't have been more perfect. Whitstable is one of my favourite places in the UK. We had Hut 1 which was lovely. The front door is tiny and there are steep steps up to the room which has a great view of the beach & sea. Couldn't fault the hut. Modern... More

We stayed in hut number 10. It is a little bit away from the rest of the huts. It has two great double bed rooms both over looking the sea. The beds are super comfortable, the huts are immaculately clean, the decor tasteful and white fluffy towels arrive daily. Waking up to the sound of the sea each morning and... More

I was surprised how much I loved my stay at the huts. Whitstable is charming and they are located right on the front. You park up and forget your car as you walk to the pubs and restaurants literally yards from the huts. They are really well furnished and despite Small shower it was fab. The dogs loved it, my... Grabbed a night away from the day to day busy nonsense just to spend some time together. We'd seen the Fisherman's Huts on an earlier visit to Whitstable and were struck by their quant charm and what appeared to be modern upgrade. We managed to book hut 14, which is a little away from the other huts but still ideally... More

hi thanks for trying hut 14. I will look at the pre-authorisaton on check-in, the only reason for it is obviously to prevent damage and anti-social behaviour but i agree it can be a bit of a pain. Other than that glad you had a nice stay and hope to see you again soon james More

I've just had a stopover here (in the main hotel) on a business trip. Pleasantly surprised, as it's obvious from the frontage that the refurb is still underway. But don't let that put you off. A warm welcome in reception and the room I had has been tastefully redecorated with a huge bed. Expansive views over the sea - if... More

hi Yes i think the estuary can be called the sea so you are correct. We have got a separate page for the hotel but never mind looks like you still had a nice stay. We are still refurbishing the hotel and will be till spring next year but there will still be areas unaffected just ask at reception. thanks... More

What's not to like? Your own parking space, 3 beds en suite kettle / fridge / microwave downstairs, huge bed / sitting area / en suite upstairs. Comfy, fantastic location, we stayed in Hut 2. Can't find much to criticise - no soap holder in the shower? The huts are a walk from the hotel where you get breakfast, and... More

I stayed with my daughter last Friday. I loved the hut. We ended up staying in the bedroom as it had the best view of the sea. I thought the facilities were excellent. The stairs was very narrow but I don't think it could have been designed in any other way. We were not told about the breakfast from the... More

Stayed in Hut 6 for three nights and enjoyed it immensely. Worth bearing in mind that the stairs to the bedroom and bathroom are about five degrees shy of vertical, so not one for the less nimble traveller. Sea views from the front are amazing and you are lulled to sleep at night by the gentle tinkle of wind in... More

hi Thanks for coming and your feedbac. If you ask when you book the reception staff will be glad to tell you which huts are more suitable for the taller or less nimble guests. Also if you fancy just grabbing a breakfast map from the forge in the morning just tell reception when you check in. thanks james More

Stayed one night in hut 2. Crisp white bedding, huge bed. Lost the other half the bed was so enormous. Woke to bright sunshine and an amazing view of the sea. The hotel was being refurbished but we are so glad we stayed here. Charming, unusual, enough room for five. Breakfast room at the hotel was a bit characterless and... More
