We stayed for one night with two older children - wasn't sure what to expect - but we all enjoyed the adventure of staying in the converted hut. It was a bit of a squeeze, but well appointed, a bit like an upmarket mobile home. The hut was immaculate and well equipped with clean bedding, towels and toiletries. Our hut... More

On arrival at 3pm we were told the Hut was not ready due to a busy weekend, bit disappointing seeing as you only can check in till 3pm and leave at 11pm however, we were offered free coffee which I didn't drink so ad to ask for other drinks which they agreed. When we finally got in the hut it... More

We were only there for one night but we loved it and will be returning for longer! There were 4 of us so we chose Hut 10 and were very glad we did. A few yards from the other huts it was closer to the beach and had a little balcony which we enjoyed. The huts are very well fitted... More

I stayed in Hut 2 for 2 nights during February mid-week as a short break from the pressures of a stressful job in London. The huts were easy to find and everything was provided - except a hairdryer....although reading other reviews on here it seems that there may have been a hairdryer in Hut 2 but it was so hidden... My partner and I and our two daughters aged 12 have just returned from a relaxing and enjoyable three night stay in Hut 2 of the Hotel Continental's Fisherman Huts, on Whitstable beach. I'm going to give a fairly in-depth review as we found that the website doesn't really do your stay justice, so we didn't know what to expect.... More

Hut 14's appeal for us was the balcony, which gives you a lovely view of the sea. The one drawback is that people pass by quite close and their gaze is invariably drawn by the owner's advert on the balcony, so you don't get much privacy. But we enjoyed ourselves nevertheless. The rooms are very tasteful and the whole experience... More

We stayed for one night in hut 14, which has a balcony that was great to sit on with a glass of wine in the evening. The hut was simply but comfortably furnished over three floors, - ground floor. entrance onto a kitchenette, (microwave, kettle, fridge, all types of glasses, crockery and cutlery) with sofa and WC, - middle floor.... We stayed in one of the rooms (not renovated) for two nights recently. Clean, tidy and very worth the price. We paid £65 per night with breakfast. Breakfast is amazing! The hotel has been renovated to a high standard. Staff are really nice and helpful; they are a young team that are extremely efficient and will do their very best... More
