This hotel is situated on the waterfront at Whitstable beach . Warm, cosy and a life saver on a breezy cold Sunday . We arrived for lunch frozen but soon warmed to the French continental style of good food and Coffee was enjoyed for afters but what a delightful find on a cold Sunday walk at Whitstable . Thanks for enjoying the Hotel on a cold March day, it's always good to hear some positive feedback. There is a separate tripadvisor page for the Hotel but it doesn't really matter! james More

I Surprised my husband with a 2 night stay 17/18march in hut 8 along with our 2 large dogs. The hut was just lovely ..... More than we expected .. After a long dog walk we decided that rather than going out to eat, fish and chips and a bottle of wine watching the sunset over the sea was the... More

Thanks for coming and glad you had such a great time-there is a couple of places very near to get some decent fish and chips and all the huts have plates and cutlery so you can eat of a plate! thanks james More

We had three nights at the hut, with our two large dogs. All four of us had a great time. The hut is finished to a high standard, with everything which we needed for our few days there. The location is ideal, just on the edge of the sea near to the yacht club. On the other side we had... More

Thanks for staying in one of the dog friendly huts-6,7,8,9 and 11. The location of the Huts is one of the main attractions as a lot of the accommodation in Whitstable is not in the centre of the town, and few have their own parking thanks for coming and the positive feedback james More

I surprised my wife with a night away in fantastic hut number four. The hut had a cosy sofa downstairs with a good size TV on the wall. The fridge was stocked with fresh milk water and juices, which was a nice touch. Teas coffees and flavoured teas were plentiful. There was a lovely shower and loo downstairs and upstairs... More

We stayed in the Anderson Shed with another couple, we wasn't sure what to expect but when we opened the door, it took our breath away, the place was huge!! Immaculate, beautifully decorated, in the fist bedroom was s double bed, the room was small but had everything you would need, the second bedroom had a king size bed, drawers... More

We stayed in hut 3 and it was great. Facilities such as two toilets, tv, iPod dock and plenty of space with a great view. The only downside is that we only stayed for one night so we would definitely stay here again and for more than one night.

We stayed one night in hut 4. Nicely furnished, comfortable bed, good to have on site dedicated parking. Billed as sleeping up to two adults and two children on the sofa bed-my, that's snug! Nice touches, a tv on each level. Would have appreciated information about wi-fi access (if there is any). Lovely quirky location but £175 off season strikes... More

I have always wanted to stay in the Hotel Continental and now with my wife and little lad have done so twice in the last 4 weeks, once for a family Christmas present for other members of our family and this week for a 2 day break for half term. The Hotel is undergoing some works but even with this it... More

We stayed in Hut 5, what a great location, even in the rain! Tea and coffee equipment with real milk left in the fridge for us. Breakfast at the hotel was lovely, fresh and generous with amazing bread. However, my husband is just over 6 foot tall, not a giant, and he could not stand up downstairs in the hut... More

Make sure you talk to reception if you are worried about the ceiling height as some of the huts do have restricted headroom, the bathroom has a heater I presume it was turned off, please call reception if you have any problems during your stay thanks james More

We stayed for just 1 night and it was absolutely lovely. Decorated very tastefully and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and small fridge. Lovely views over the sea and harbour, and the breakfast provided at the Hotel Continental was delicious. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get away for a hassle free, relaxing break.
