These lovely bijou converted fishermen's huts are almost perfect, after an easy and quick check in at the Continental hotel, it was off down the road about half a mile to a clean and importantly on a winters morning a warm hut 7. there was clean fresh bed linen and towels. and it was ideally situated for access to the... I understand the charm of this idea. But for basically sleeping in a shed ... it needs to all be excellent. I arrived at the hotel and wasn't even shown to the huts in the dark (they are not really anywhere near it). The room was a bit tired - no comfortable chair, bathroom could do with refreshing. Bed not... More

Currently spending a few nights in the Fisherman's huts to celebrate husband's birthday. We're in hut 5 which is perfect for a couple. There's a car park space directly in front of the huts and 2 mins walk into Harbour Street. The hut is lovely with a small kitchenette with tea/ tea and a small fridge with milk, juice and... More

The address of these converted cockle fishermen's huts is 'The Seawall' and they are not kidding. Hard against the seawall and right on the beach you cant get closer to staying by the sea without getting your feet wet. Clean and with all you need for a good stay. We had wild weather (Friday 29th Jan to Sunday 31st) and... More

Four of us have just returned from a very comfortable nights stay at the Anderson shed. We were all delighted with the convenience to all amenities, the quirkiness of the hut, its position on the beach, the cleanliness and, the amazing view from the upstairs sitting room window. A separate toilet and , large shower in separate bathroom was convenient... More

Stayed here with a friend last week.... I actually will not be able to praise both the accommodation and staff enough! The huts themselves are really fabulous. We stayed in Hut 6 which was gorgeous - bijou and designed really well and then Hut 10 - which was even more fabulous - two double beds, a great bathroom and kitchen... More

A superb night away to celebrate my birthday. Lovely welcome at the hotel. Hut 11 was so cute, beautifully furnished - quaint shutters and tongue and groove panels, nice and warm, loved the deckchairs and the little balcony. Everything thought of - toiletries, iron, hairdryer, plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and juice. Lovely comfortable bed with excellent linen and... More
