Stayed with my mum for one night in Hut 10 in April. The hut had two double rooms and cost £145 for a weekday night which we thought was good value considering all the space we got! My mum absolutely loved it and I thought it was great too. The hut is in very good decorative order, clean and looks... More

A one night stay was on the cards for my girlfriend to relax and unwind after running the London Marathon! We stayed in Hut 4 which was perfect for a couple. We tried to check-in early but the hut wasn't ready, however they gave us the parking permit so we got free parking to explore the area! When we got... More

The Fisherman's Huts are right on the shoreline and have fabulous views. The Andersen Hut has a fantastic bay window and is pretty well appointed but many things needed attention e.g. 3 windows had broken casement stays. Breakfast at the Continental Hotel (which comes as part of package) is pretty disappointing: buffet style but mostly cold & kept running out,... More

These lovely old former-fishing huts have been presented as self-catering accommodation and they have done a reasonable job. You enter on the ground floor through wooden double doors then the "real" door is inside that, with plenty of glass to let light in when the wooden doors are hooked back. The kitchen is small and basic, not particularly well-finished, but... More

Lovely spot . Close walk to town ( hotel ) Very friendly staff and very very clean fresh rooms ,The beds are so soft and comfortable ( I'm very fussy ) I had a very relaxing stay . Breakfast was standard . Only criticism was the dead yellow roses in the vases in the bar and resturant / made me... More

These bijou quirky little huts are fabulous. Well appointed. Cute and cozy. Deck chairs and sea views mean only a few steps to the sea. Coffee shops, eateries and brilliant shopping nearby. Breakfast at the continental hotel is included and was locally sourced and delicious.

After a tough start to 2015, we decided to have a relaxing weekend in Whitstable to help us chill out and forget about life. We found the Fisherman Huts through the Hotel Continental website and, when we saw that we could take a dog, we knew that it was the place for us. The Huts are perfectly located by the... More

Firstly, myself and my boyfriend LOVE LOVE LOVE whitstable. This was our second time visiting. When we went last time, we spotted the fishermens huts and thought they looked perfect so booked for this trip. As there are only the 2 of us, we booked hut 1 as its a 2 man hut. The location is perfect but that's about... More

The price varies with the time of year so if you are on a tight budget come in January and February when prices fall to just 75 pounds per night B&B. Most of the Huts sleep 2 adults and two children and are priced including breakfast so £150.00 per night during the school holidays is reasonable especially when you can... More

I think it was a lovely experience but I did book three huts for one nights stay. Firstly I thought it was a bit unfair that weeks before we were due to go they brought down the price from £125 to £95. I felt guilty because I had booked 3 huts for friends. I was in number 5 and you... More

hi The price does come down sometimes in the winter so sometimes you can pick up a bargain at the last minute but don't rely on it. The Oyster Company is famous for selling fresh local shellfish and fish, local lobster is out of season in March, the local fisherman only start to catch them when the water warms up... More

We have been coming to Whitstable for years, but it never palls. We just love the place, and these huts are a ideal way of experiencing the beach up close!! We stayed in Hut 14 Which has two bedrooms, one in a loft / attic, above the double bedroom. This bedroon has a lovely balcony that overlooks the beach great... More

hi Thanks for coming to Hut 14,the position is probably the best in Whitstable, please remember all of our hut's are old converted fisherman's stares so the sound insulation is not what you would expect from a modern building. Hut 14 was converted from an original 150 yr old fisherman's store approx 3 yrs ago. thanks again james More
