We were given a Red letter day present of a night at Elvey farm but had never heard of it we are now ardent fans and supporters. Arriving around 5pm on a gorgeous English warm sunny afternoon,to a paradise of peace and tranqui!its, being welcomed and upgraded to a suite was as the Americans say,"awesome". Staff were young, attentive, extremely friendly without... More

I am sure that this place was good in its time, but time has moved on and they haven't The room we had was was gloomy and dark, the sofa was damaged but covered up with a horrible beige thing that I could not describe as anything else but cheap and nasty.. ~Having paid £150 for this room we felt... Stayed for two nights in May. The farm is beautiful. They have guides for hikes through the countryside including sheep pastures that take you to local pubs for a pint! The restaurant on site is very good. I stayed in the Oast House, which is a silo type structure where they dried hops for the Guinness company back in the... More

I loved watching darling buds of may and the website explained that it was filmed around this area. The surrounding fields were full of the colour of wild meadow flowers which we enjoyed whilst we did the 4 mile walk soon after we arrived which was a comfortable flat and well marked walk. The service at this delightful hotel was... More

Welcomed with a friendly face and shown to our room in the stables. Not what we expected as it exceeded our expectations. Well located away from the hustle and bustle of main roads. Breakfast was to die for with all locally produced apple juice, jams, bread, bacon. eggs and sausages. Saw a couple of cats on patrol which are interesting... More

I stayed there four years ago (2010) for a wedding anniversary, wonderful food and location but the bath dripped into the restaurant below and the room (above the bar/kitchen area) was noisy after dinner. My parents just stayed there - the food was great in the restaurant. However, elements of their room, despite people writing comments in the visitors' book,... More

this place is simply amazing, hot tub in a secret garden, out of this world. There is a circular 4 mile route that takes in Pluckley and other sites of Darling Buds of May, beautiful countryside walk if you get the chance. Breakfast amazing, everything just perfect, cant wait to go back in the summer.

My partner and I went here for one night over the bank holiday weekend and I have honestly never enjoyed a night away more. The room was gorgeous, the area amazing for walking and just stopping and staring, the hotel was beautiful and Simon was a great host. We met another nice couple and had a great night chatting away... More

Stayed at the Canterbury suite for 1 night on a Wednesday. The room was lovely, very spacious and clean. It had a very open feel which made it feel big. The shower and bath were both lovely, definitely a place for couples. People staying in the Canterbury suite get access to the secret garden and hot tub. Was a perfect... More

Elvey Farm is as pretty as a picture and yes I would return. We were made very welcome on arrival and found The Whitstable Suite warm and homely. Decorated in a seaside theme and spotless . The slipper bath was wonderful. We were aware that the Restaurant was closed and had dinner at The Rose and Crown Pub at the... More
