I stayed here mid week, after deciding to try somewhere different while working in the area. The farm hotel is remote and accessed by a long private road. it retains the farm appearance on the outside but the inside is stylish and welcoming. owned and operated by an Italian family. My room was large and well appointed, the only minor... More

Beautiful room (we stayed in the Canterbury suite which was the most expensive room) but agree with some of the other reviews that the service was really bad, no one at reception at check in, when shown our room we were just given a key and told that there was no shampoo, the cooked breakfast was tiny and really greasy... Pretty impressive as you drive down the country lane, lot's of carpark spaces. A warm greeting from the receptionist and was shown up to my room the entrance to the room is tiny, but once inside is very spacious. The room itself is sort of clean found a dead bug on top of the bed and a few doted about,... More

The occasion was a family civil wedding comprising the wedding breakfast , evening entertainment , overnight stay & breakfast the following morning at this venue . Situated in a rural , quiet location with a thoughtful and sympathetic conversion of period Kentish buildings dating from 1402 . These buildings now provide a restaurant , dining rooms and a wide range... More

The hotel is located in lovely peaceful spot surrounded by fields and countryside. The barn and outbuildings are nicely decorated. Upon arrival we were shown to our room "Canterbury" by a female receptionist, the Granary houses two rooms the Tenterten and Canterbury. We were not shown and facilities in the room, nor told about wifi, breakfast service and the hotel... More

What a lovely place to stay, the local area is lovely to walk through and explore, with nice local pubs. The atmosphere was relaxed and soothing, the service and staff were lovely. The rooms were clean, spacious and relaxing. I would recommend and we will stay again. We were made to feel very welcome.

Really unsure about this little place. My husband & I booked a room to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. I left a message on Elvey Farms answer machine asking them to confirm our late arrival, as we were going to be arriving at about 8pm, but heard nothing! On arrival there was no one around to greet us, we rang... More

At first you notice the stains on the room carpet and that there is nowhere sensible to put your toiletries. But the charm of this lovely place soon takes over. It's hard to say exactly what it is - a whole combination - but the atmosphere just creeps into you, until you fall in love with the place. The room... More

We have just returned from a romantic stay at Elvey Farm. I looked for somewhere to stay, that was not too far from home, to celebrate our anniversary and was not disappointed. I originally booked for me and my partner but then wanted to take our dog. I emailed Elvey and promptly got a response saying no problem, our original... More

We chose Elvey for a very last minute getaway, within easy travelling distance of London. We literally booked a couple of hours before we arrived and recieved a warm welcome to our beautiful room. Our host had checked the room himself and made sure the heating was turned on for us - a lovely, thoughtful touch. He directed us to... More
