Easy to find, as on the main road. Arrived early, all doors locked but there is a phone no on the doors. Rang the no, immediately the doors were opened. We received a very warm welcome, although we were too early for checking into our rooms they offered to take our bags and was asked if we would like a... More

This hotel wasn`t what I was hoping for..We were shown into a room that someone else had used, ie. dirty pillow slips, scum in the bath and dirty socks on the floor, not what I was hoping for at all after 11 hours of travelling. Of course we were told there was a mix up and we were given another,... More

Stayed here in November for one night. The carpets on the landing & in the bedroom were grubby and not vacuumed very well at all. Bed was very uncomfortable, double glazing was atrocious and the breakfast greasy and unappetising. The only good thing was the location, £80 per night is completely overpriced for this place, wouldn't recommend it.

I normally stay in other hotel chains. This time I was let down. I booked last minute and did not know what to expect. However I wish I had found this guesthouse/hotel before. Very friendly and comfortable. The rooms are very high standard. I will stay here again the next time I am in Margate.

Clean friendly hotel located a short bus ride from the station and town centre. Rooms located above a pub so handy for drinks but can be noisy. Thin walls as could hear all that was going on in the bathroom next door!

Renny really looked after us for our 50th anniversary of turning professional in August 1964. Unfortunately, only three of the six band members could attend, but the hotel treated us magnificently. The food was good, the room two of us had was excellent (the other members and their friends stayed elsewhere) and all the staff polite and aware of what... More

We wanted to be located close to the seafront. The inn is about a 10-15 minute walk from the station. Upon arrival we were swiftly checked in and shown to our room. It was lovely, spacious and the bed comfortable. Although, the room did not have air conditioning, there was a standing fan and windows that could be opened. Breakfast... More

We popped in here for a late afternoon lunch after our visit to the local museum. A very friendly staff told us the chef had not turned up. She offered us a choice of 4 meals all priced at £7.95 each. We chose 2 spare ribs 1 fish and chips and 1 chilly chicken. They were all delicious. They have... More

Lovely place, very clean, great food and very friendly staff, would definitely recommend it. Came down from Scotland for a wedding, first time here, but will not be the last . Margate itself doesn't have much to offer but a short bus or taxi ride gets you to Ramsgate where there is lots to see and do, particularly down the... More
