This was our second overnight stay at this hotel - we did not hesitate to return to "The Castle".
In keeping with the age of the hotel, rooms have an olde world feeling and although the bar could be described as slightly rundown, it has a pleasant friendly atmosphere.
The bedrooms are of reasonable size, with comfortable beds and adequate ensuite facilities.
The staff are very helpful indeed - although we arrived late at night, we were able to order a sandwich and a drink in our rooms.
Breakfast - full English- was very good, and cooked at our required time so that we could catch an early Eurotunnel train.
Once again we were impressed by the excellent value, and the friendly staff, and will no doubt return again and again. more
