Unwelcoming, in need of a good clean and repair. Cold cooked breakfast, dirty dusty table linens. No way is this a 4*. More

We found Seabrook House clean and comfortable. Ok the taste of decor was not my choice but our room was very clean and smelled of fresh paint! There are some nice touches - there is a fridge accessible downstairs with fresh Milk in case you don't like UHT in the bedrooms, a toaster on every table in the dining room... More

Shabby room, bold print wall paper, bed saggy and one old blanket only on it. Bathroom has carpet which is really Yuk !! my daughter had no cold water in her room and was told they knew about it but couldn't do anything so she couldn't wash there as the water was too hot! Breakfast was foul, the table cloth... More

Asked to book according to the offer on their website and told that that offer is for winter only, pointed out it doesn't say that on the website, but booked at normal price anyway. Wish we hadn't. Phoned to say that we were running late and were told that they thought we had already arrived and had given our room... More

Some good points to start off with, the hotel's pretty easy to get to from Folkestone town centre (bus from the main station runs about every 10 minutes during the day) and it's in a nice quiet area close to the sea. Downside is that there's not a lot within easy walking disrtance in terms of shops and restaurants although... More

We only stayed here one night just before we got the ferry from Dover. The location was fine, just 20 minutes to the port but there was nowhere nearby to get a takeaway or a restaurant. The front of the hotel looked a bit like faulty towers..... However, the room itself (turret) was very nice with a 4 poster bed,... More

It's dirty, unkind, noisy, cheap breakfast served with cheap china, and under works so it is really not a pleasure to stay there.... Staff does not exist, only one lady to greet you after a while.... Only one advice:AVOID IT!!!!!!! More

Everybody is on a budget. Me included. However, if I compare what I payed for what I get, I consider it being way to much. I do understand that they need to refurbish, rebuild and renovate. But If you need to keep the place open because you can not afford otherwise, then you will be out of business in no... More

When we arrived there were no other cars in the car park. A member of staff was loitering in the conservatory at the front of the building, talking on her mobile phone in a foreign language. She didn't bother terminating her phone conversation when we gave her our name and grunted at us to follow her to a first floor... More
