What a charming little resort! The staff was friendly and VERY helpful. The area is beautiful. I used this as a "home base" for my research travels into London during the week I was there. One downside was the fact that there are few taxis available in the area and scheduling one can be tricky. The Edenbridge Town railway station... More

booked for bed and breakfast, but staff refused to believe we should have breakfast included. Had to go into the internet lounge and forward them my confirmation email from laterooms.com, bit of a nightmare! ended up not eating the breakfast anyway after spending all my time trying to sort it out, it sat on the table and got cold! no... We stayed at the Hever Hotek for one week every member of staff was courteous and more then helpful. The food we had was excellent both on the Al a Cart Menue and on the set menu for both dinner ad breakfast. The room was more than adequate and there was free use of Wifi which was a welcome bonus... Stayed for one night. Quite a quirky establishment. On arrival - Great location, great character, let down by amateurish paperwork & map on check-in. Some of the rooms are converted stables giving slight hotel/motel feel. Clean but outdated decor in room. My mattress completely worn out / no springs left!. Not what you would expect given the room rate (£100+... More

The hotel is set in lovely grounds. You can sit outside, enjoying a glass of wine while watching the swallows swooping down to feed. The rooms are big but the décor is out of date. The bed was uncomfortable, but with the abundance of things to do in the local area, you won't be spending much time in the room.... More

We wondered, after reading previous reviews, if we had made a mistake when booking this hotel. But we needn't have worried. Although perhaps not the easiest place to find, sat nav is a wonderful invention, we arrived at we thought a very attractive looking hotel. Reception were friendly and helpful and our room was a good size, clean, warm and... More

We stayed three nights at the Hever Hotel after booking through Late Rooms. We payed £65 a night room only and we were very pleased with the hotel. The rooms were clean and well presented with flat screen tv, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is set in beautiful countryside with... I was slightly worried after booking this hotel as the write ups were far from glowing but we were pleasently surprised by how nice and welcoming it was. We stayed here as a base to visit family in Surrey and Kent and apart from one night when we couldn't get back to the hotel because of snow we had a... More
