Been camping for 25 years and this is really the best experience we ever had. If I could set up my own camping, this would be the one. Don't expect a traditional camping with separated pitches but a great area of woodland and meadows where you can enjoy nature. Great facilities and super friendly staff. Thank you for the experience!

We stayed in the "Apple field" at Bedgebury, and found it quite charming, the campsite has four or five separate fields, some designated as family fields. The staff are really lovely, a real family run business. The shop has most things you would require, for your stay. Each camp space has an old tractor wheel hub, to use as a... More

We have just returned from a one night stay at Bedgebury Camping. We had a great time! We stayed on Apple field which was a family field. There were mainly groups on our field but we did not experience any noise problems. The eco loos really surprised me as they were clean and did not smell. I also used the... More

We stayed there this weekend and, as novice campers, we were not disappointed. The site is huge and you can decide whether to stay close to others or feel completely isolated and away from it all at the other end (which is what we did). Yes, the loos are eco long-drops and, yes, there were some groups which made a... More

We have just come back from 2 wonderful nights at Bedgebury Camping. I love that right from booking you are given information. I felt the site is very well organised. The greeting when we arrived with explanations of the site and what was available over the weekend. We found ourselves a space which worked perfectly for us. I was keen... More

Stayed here for 2 nights with a group of 10 we had a good time but this was because of our group. Toilets and washing facilities are terrible toilets were not cleaned and no hot water . I have stayed at better campsites for less money we had 3 children 1 tent and 1 car and paid £70 they charge... More

We booked Bedgebury as it wasn't too far from home and there was a small group of of us (5 tents) so we wanted the freedom to pitch where we wanted. The campsite is lovely and when we got there there was hardly anybody there. Unfortunately a group of at least 20 tents then pitched opposite us. By the end... More

I wanted to take my two boys (6 + 11) camping overnight but not too far from home. Having searched around I found Bedgebury and it looked okay for our needs. I had read a few reviews about noise so emailed the owners about this. They advised that they had put us in the family fields - which I figured... More

This campsite is huge and you can pitch where you like so no chance of feeling cramped in. The Eco loos take a bit of getting used too and could do with a light in there so you can see what you're dining at night! Overall it's a good basic campsite.

We have just got back from a lovely weekend with friends which was made by company rather than the facilities. The campsite is temporary which says it all as the management do not have a policy for large groups or guidelines how to pitch. We arrived to pitch up in a beautiful tranquil spot only to be besieged by a... More
