The service was excellent with very polite and friendly staff, the room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the bar food was very good as well. We had a very nice stay and would happily return again.

Me and partner stayed here for two nights. They were the worst nights sleep with have had in a long time. All you can hear with the window open is shouting from other guests. The bed was okay, not as good as most three stars but still alright. The shower was designed for hobits so if ladies expect wash their... More

Despite the price being realitivley cheap, I don't except: -rude and unhelpful staff -slow service -hallways which smelt of urine and proceeded to looking as if someone had died on it. -no air con, have to pay for fans however, there was none left. -one small window which was the only air source which looked onto pavement and could see... We stayed at this hotel for the second time and found it to be improved both in the en suite decor and the breakfast. The breakfast had a god choice of cereals and also a good choice of a full cooked breakfast, cheese and ham or croissants and jam/marmalade. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and... I am five foot ten and husband six feet, our feet were hanging out the end of the bed.(room 130) The room was too small with only a few inches to get round th... More

First impression was dirty and unclean, rubbish around the front entrance, reception was not much better, no smiles or eye contact, not even a hello or a smile. The room was okay, not really clean or well laid out, this trend was followed throughout the week, bed not made properly, floor not hovered, beakers not replaced and on a few... More

Stayed for 3 nights to visit our son in brompton barracks for armed forces day. Staff were superb, friendly and very accomodating. Despite hosting 4 weddings and a veterens banquet on saturday, our needs were not compromised. The hotel although a little tired in the decor was clean and felt more comfortable and atmospheric than some 5 star hotels we... More
