I stayed here with my husband on what must be one of the busiest Saturdays on the calendar. We arrived around 5pm and were greeted by a member of bar staff who checked us in and showed us to our room. The greeting was very friendly and professional and our room was very pleasant indeed with lots of original features.... More

Stayed one night as we were going out to dinner with friends. Arrived approx 2.30 and was met by a very friendly lady working behind the bar, she took us straight upto our room. Lovely and clean, nice sheets, good size room and even better, tea, coffee and biscuits, so we could make ourselves a drink. Went for a walk... More

We stayed at this so called hotel for two nights. When we got there we were disapointed by the size of the room having payed £180 pounds for the two nights. We had to pay £20 pounds for them to put a very small z bed in our room for my 10 year old son to sleep on. We was... More

Your review is quite clearly linked systematically to the earlier one placed earlier. In short if the pub was noisy, then your party was the noisiest long after the bar was closed. As for smoking outside well at least that is legal which it isn't in the bedrooms which is what we found after you had left. Heating. All of... More

Recently stayed at this hotel and it was not a very pleasant experience. The manager/owner was one of the most unhelpful rude person I have met ! The rooom was over heated,(no control over the radiator) so we had to sleep with the window open. The bathroom had no blinds or curtains only net curtains with a direct veiw out... More

All hoteliers will know there are bookings that should never have happened and this was one of them. The question of the spare bed was 100 per cent the guests mistake. The booking notes clearly show no demand for that extra bed because the bride who booked the rooms stated that she was OK for the beds to be pushed... More

I must first say I primarily chose this hotel for the price and the exceptionally brilliant location for the station (ignore the map, the station is literally across the road from the station entrance!), and it was my first proper visit apart from a change of trains to Faversham. After arriving by bus from Canterbury (the number 3 bus from... More

Booked 2 rooms last minute for a friday night stay as myself and 2 workmates had to stay overnight in faversham to complete a job. Have to say what a gem of a hotel this is for the price. From the moment i made the booking i recieved a phone call from the manager Cath who kindly put an extra... More

We stayed for 2 nights in October. Friendly welcome and room was all we needed. Although a little dated and tired looking the room was clean with great storage and the bed really comfortable. There was plenty of tea, coffee hot chocolate etc and these were filled daily.and the free WiFi was excellent. A bit of an issue with the... More

Room was very large but in desperate need of a make over especially the bathroom was very disappointed with that!!! Room no3 was quite noisy with traffic and pub customers till early hours! Didn't bother with breakfast as there is a really nice weatherspoons down the road, some lovely quaint restaurants to choose from too Even though I wasn't impressed... More

We had a really warm, friendly welcome, although staff were rushed off their feet because the hop festival was on. The room was great, - very clean and comfortable and had a relaxed, homely feel. Breakfasts were great - especially the locally made sausages - definitely not made of cardboard or MDF! We would definitely love to go back! The... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights in August, staff were friendly and helpful, room (no4) was lovely with triple aspect windows, plenty of complimentary tea coffee and biscuits and linen changed daily, shower room adequate for a short stay, there was loads of storage space as its a large room, which includes a sofa. A little pricey as breakfast... More
