We recently had the pleasure to stay at Mary's stylish house. Mary greeted us in a relaxed, friendly way and showed us to a lovely double room at the front of the house. We had such a sound sleep in the most comfy bed with exquisite bed linen as white as the driven snow. In the morning we got to... More

the whole experience felt so much like a home away from home that I took plates back to the kitchen without thinking. Breakfast was generous and varied, lots of toiletries in the shower, very comfortable room, interesting conversation and above all a friendly atmosphere. Mary even offered the use of her mobile phone as there was a problem with mine.... More

Very warm welcome, fabulous house and handy location. Mary was incredibly accommodating and flexible. Conversation was lively and the shared breakfast table is a great idea. No train noise despite proximity to station. Definitely recommended.

Mary is a fantastic hostess. She is really welcoming and accommodating. She made breakfast feel informal, interesting and entertaining, telling stories to her guests from the kitchen as we sat around a lovely old wooden table, chatting and enjoying her great food. My room was very comfortable and I slept well for two nights running, which is extremely unusual for... More

I spent a weekend in Faversham to catch up with friends and this couldn't have been a better place to stay. Mary was very welcoming and friendly, the food was wonderful and plentiful, the bedroom and bathroom facilities were great.

Stayed at this wonderful B&B during the Faversham Hop Festival. A nice big house, immaculately clean and a lovely comfortable room. The one thing that made our stay here really good was the singularly genial hospitality of Mary, the landlady of the establishment. A lovely Irish lady with a twinkle in her eye, Mary goes all out to make her... More

I've often wondered on who they based this classic British nursery rhyme and having spent a faultless night at the Gladstone house B&B, I think I have found the answer. This beautifully decorated Victorian house which was full of charm and character was run by Mary, who could not have done enough to make your stay as friendly and welcoming... More

Ditto all the good things in the reviews below. As well as having a great stay, Mary also gave me some hardy basil cuttings which have grown beautifully! Would certainly go and stay again. We really enjoyed our stay in Faversham - especially the Brewery tour.

We have just enjoyed our third visit to Gladstone House and had a really great time which, as before, was made even better by Mary's friendly and amusing personality. The house is lovely, the bed was really comfortable and the breakfast delicious with loads of choice. Nothing is too much trouble for Mary and I would thoroughly recommend this B&B... More
