We stayed two nights and had dinner each night. What a great place to stay with excellent food. The history of the inn is very unique. The view from the room overlooking the back yard was very nice. Debbie has a family of 4 fox kits living in the shrubs. They came out at dusk to play each evening. What... More

Definitely the place to stay in Dymchurch. A beautiful house celebrating the character Dr Syn. Easy parking and access to the rail and beach. Worth the walk to the further away Ship Inn though if you want pub food. An easy and refreshing walk awaits along the impressive sea wall. With views of Folkestone and Dungeness. Lovely breakfast too.

A last minute find in a quiet area of Kent with walking distance to the sea wall. We had a very warm cosy room with en suite shower. Very clean and friendly owner and cool little cat called Nelson. Fantastic breakfast got exactly what you wanted. Great stay for ferry port at Dover.

A welcome rest from a rotten journey. A lovely peaceful guest house, with a great welcome from Debbie, Nelson the Kitten and John. A great tranquil atmosphere, comfortable rooms, fluffy towels, a very good night's sleep and an exceptional full English breakfast. Quality, well cooked food at a very reasonable price. We wished we'd booked an evening meal. I'm so... More

Firstly I would like to say that this B&B is very clean, has a beautiful garden, in a lovely building and the rooms are very comfortable. The only downsides however are that the towels were like sandpaper and I really feel for the money we paid having Sainsbury's own brand orange juice and the cheapest bread (the thin plastic kind!)... Just stayed the one night, but would certainly stay again and would recommend. Warm welcome from the owners (and the new kitten!) and a useful chat about attractions and pubs in Dymchurch. Room spotless and nicely appointed. The room was at the back, overlooking the pristine gardens and very quiet. A comfortable nights sleep. The intimacy of the place, combined... More

We stayed at Dr Syns for a quick one night break recently, a break that was well needed and was actually very much enjoyed with such a warm welcome from Debbie, John and Nelson ;) The weather allowed us to enjoy the back garden with a couple of aperitifs from the very reasonable bar. After our evening out, we were... More

We stayed at Dr Syns Guest House in Dymchurch (myself and my 17 year old daughter) over the recent Bank Holiday weekend. My family and I - going back no less than 4 generations used to come to Dymchurch and St. Marys Bay for our holidays (a few years ago now), so my daughter and I were having a girlie... More
