Picked this place off the internet so we weren't sure what to expect. The inn is in a lovely location. We had a meal in the restaurant which was superb. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable and all in all was great value for money more
Booked over the phone in advance for me, my wife and 2 young children. When we arrived the room was not avaliable. We had to find alternative accomadation that evening. Dear Mr. Sheehan, You booked to stay in February of last year 2008, We have owned the business since January 2009. You have been given the previous owners details, it is they who owe you money, not the Blue Pigeons. I can only apologise, and would assure guests that it is not our policy to charge for accommodation until departure....
We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Dover, we booked through active rooms which turned out to be cheaper than booking directly! I believe they also use late rooms too.
