We had the recent pleasure of staying at the Channel View Guest House, just before Christmas. This was our 7th year of visiting this delightful establishment, where we have always received a warm welcome from all the staff & have got to know the owners Graham & Shirley well. Its beautiful location, comfortable rooms and excellent food, keep us coming... More

We stayed at the Channel View Guest House 2 weeks ago. The location is nice with sweeping views over the Channel as the name suggests. The weather was fine which made a huge difference to the feel of the place. As other reviewers have said it is connected the the Kings Head Hotel which is where breakfast was served. The... More

Stayed last night as part of a corporate entertainment thingy. Firstly the Guest House is linked to the Kings Head pub and you have to go to the Kings Head to get your key. The chap in the pub offered to show me my room (how hard is using a set of keys ?) so I declined and waited for... More

Just an over night stay on 22nd July for my wife and two daughters, had twin roooms along from the Kings head, Rooms were fantastic, a bathroom you could have a party in. Bit worried at first as rooms overlook an ouside area used by several pubs, so thought it might get a bit noisy in the evening, but not... More

We stayed at the Channel View B&B and had dinner at the King's Head pub (same owner). The property is on the seafront and most rooms have a view of the beach. The room was spotless with free wi-fi. The English breakfast was excellent. The owners and staff are very friendly. We enjoyed our stay in Deal and would definitely recommend... More

We stayed here for one night and it was really nice for the money. The views our great and on a really windy night, there were no draughts. What is confusing is that it is owned and run by The King's Head Pub a few doors along. This is a cosy pub where you can eat and drink and where... More

We stayed at the King's Head for one night, and had a room at the Channel View annex. This is a building next door to the main pub. The King's Head is a typical English pub, with all the atmosphere and services you would expect. Great feeling, real ales and pub food. We did not eat here, so can't comment... More

Nice and close to the pier. Centrally located with a nice view of the beach. Roomy and very clean room with a hearty full english breakfast served in the Hotel - we stayed in the Channel View guest rooms two doors up. Lovely walk along the beachfront through the beached fishing boats to Deal Castle. The pub grub here was... More

The Channel View guest house adjacent to, and rum by The King's Head pub certainly delivers what its name promises! A great seafront location, with a real holiday feel, even in April, as the well landscaped public space outside the guesthouse and overlooking the beach and pier is covered in pub and hotel tables for al-fresco dining and drinking. We've... More

We stayed in the Channel View Guest House (part of the King's Head) for just one night but found it to be a very good find. The rooms have been recently refurbished and had everything that you could want plus we also had a fantastic view of the sea and the pier. Will definitely stay here again if we need... More
