Stayed here a few times when visiting the area to do some fishing. Very comfortable and very good food. Highly recommended for a place priced sensibly. Friendly staff and owners. Room was nice and clean.

I stayed for a couple of days to visit relatives, very friendly place with comfortable ensuite room. Breakfast menu was extensive and I was told I needn't stick with it but could order whatever I fancied, which was then freshly cooked and delicious. I think I have found my new home-from-home! Free wifi and a seaview too.

We were over from Australia visiting family nearby so stayed for two weeks. Pauline and Derek went beyond the norm for us in every way especially when our credit cards needed to be replaced. A perfect location close to the town centre its ambience is one of a friendly small home. The Breakfast selection is extensive and any variation can... More

The room was quite small but very cozy, extra points for the lace bed cover! It felt like staying in the spare guest room at some old aunts house. (Whats with all the birds feathers behind the table just below the window?) Perfect location, just a few minutes walk to the beach or to the High Street. We both loved... More

We stayed at The Malvern last Saturday as our friends got married. Booked in early and this was no problem the owners were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and what you expect for a seaside guest house. Not perfect but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and large we had the full English breakfast. It was... More

I stayed at the Malvern for over four months whilst working locally. Pauline and Derek made me feel very welcome and were always more than helpful. The location is fantastic, right beside the beach and close to good restaurants. Rooms were always spotless and comfortable and the exterior of the B and B is beautifully maintained with colourful flower beds.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and were very happy with the room and the delicious breakfasts - there is a great choice to cater for all tastes. The owners were just lovely, warm and friendly. We felt like we'd known them for years.

Excellent choice of breakfast options and delicious food. Warm welcome by host Derek and hostess Pauline. Also excellent situation close to beach and town centre. Room 4 was very comfortable. As room was ready we were able to book in early.

Rooms were spotlessly clean but on the small side. We only stayed one night, so no problem. Great selection for breakfast, very well prepared. Location in a (surprisingly) busy side street, close to Deal Castle and the seafront. Even though free Wifi was advertised, it didn't work in the rooms and the Lounge/breakfast area was locked up during the day.
