We had a lovely 2 day stay in the Cranbrook area, visiting many of the wonderful National Trust places dotted around this part of Kent; notably Sissinghurst. Hallwood Farm Oast was an ideal location for our tour of the county, where we passed many lovely hamlets and towns such as Cranbrook and Tenterden. This working fruit farm is also very... More

This was exactly what my husband and I needed! The room was so cozy, plenty of room, lots of character, wonderful big bed, and a great view. Phenomenal English breakfast with local food! The farmstead was so peaceful and beautiful. There are plenty of cute little towns around the area to keep you busy. Sarah and her husband are very... More

We stayed for two nights in June. It was very enjoyable and a lovely farm location. We even took the very friendly dog for a walk around the stunning fruit trees. The room was decorated in a really pretty, English countryside way. Comfy rooms, welcoming host. very clean and delicious breakfast.

My husband and I stayed here in June 2013 for 2 nights whilst we completed the faB MTB cycling trails in Bedgebury forest. Welcoming reception with home-made cake and fudge in our room which was a nice touch and unexpected. Room lovely views and very comfortable with good bathroom facilities. The breakfast is fantastic! An easy cycle off road into... More

Authentic Oast House accommodation (good to see the "before and after" photos) with character rooms (fully up-to-date facilities and furniture). Very comfortable bed and a greta night's sleep. A very friendly welcome and an excellent breakfast spread (home-made preserves and local fruits) from Sarah. Good signposting on the main road. An excellent stay and highly recommended.

It is simply a very, very good B&B. We chose it because it is a working farm (our family runs a farm), and the B&B uses fresh produce from the farm for breakfast, their honey is lovely. And the breakfast choice is fantastic. There are lots of guides and books to help you in choosing visits. On the logistics -... More

Excellent by any standards and excellent value for money. Great location for exploring Kent and the South-East coast. Friendly hosts. Best English breakfast with home made jams. Lovely bedrooms. Clean as a whistle and beautifully decorated/furnished. Best nights sleep had in ages! Gtrat restaurants nearby. Interesting fruit farm. Could not ask for more.

A traditional oast house with attractive landscaping at the rear and a simple open and comfortable design in a quiet setting makes Hallwood Farm Oast House an excellent choice for a B&B stay in Kent. The lane running to the oast house is a little hard to find traveling from Cranbrook, resulting in us missing the turn off the first... More

Hallwood Farm Oast House is located down a farm track between Cranbrook and Hawkhurst. We stayed in Bramling, which is a lovely, light, spacious double room overlooking farm and fields with large ensuite bathroom (with shower over bath). The decor is beautiful and every detail has been thought of. There is a sitting area in front of the TV, there... More

Really, really good place to stay. We were here for just two nights in the middle of May and everything was excellent. Not an inexpensive B & B - however it beats many hotels in offering every amenity and the surrounding farm countryside, acres of apple trees in full blossom, were most picturesque, with a quiet garden to enjoy the...
