This is a really nice country farm (original oast house ) bed and breakfast . It was a bit hard to find the turnoff in the dark , but we think that because we are from Canada and have trouble on the wrong side of the road , contributed to this. The house has been renovated and be sure to... More

Thank you for your review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We are aware that the water pressure on the showers can be a little disappointing and this is something we do not deny, but hope to be able to address in the future However, we would like to stress that both ensuites have full sized baths (and... Travelling to nearby Sissinghurst with a couple of friends from home, my wife and I stayed at Sarah's B&B for two nights in July. We all had a delightful stay. Sarah's breakfasts were certainly a highlight of the accommodation with wonderful fresh country ingredients and her delicious home made jams and cordials. One of the memories we will recall on... Our stay here exceeded our expectations in every way. Kent was beyond gorgeous and had truckloads of charm, as was this beautiful, English farm, their unbelievably friendly resident dog, Doug (whom gave us the warmest welcome ever) and its acres of apple and blackcurrant orchards, vast greenery and wild rabbits dashing all over the place (they are very shy though... This is such a lovely hidden gem in the midst of Kent! The room is beautifully presented whilst keeping the character and features of the original build. The room had everything we could want for and having our own fridge in the middle of summer was a real blessing to keep stocked up with cold drinks etc. The breakfast was... More

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at Hallwood Farm B&B in April 2015. We stayed in the Fuggle Room which was charming, spacious and beautifully prepared and had a lovely view over the green pastures. The ensuite bathroom was modern and was supplied with generous toiletries. Sarah's breakfasts are a highlight and include a wide range of delicious foods... More

Lovely building, clean and high end rooms, delicious breakfast and the warmest of warm welcomes from Sarah Wickham. We fortuitously came across this B&B and would stay a week! Calm, scrupulously clean, relaxing, comfortable, quiet (as a farm can be!) and relaxing. A great base from which to explore the area. Great little extras in the spacious rooms too

We stayed at Hallwood Farm for four nights in early August 2014 and have only high words of praise for the accommodation and the owners, Sarah and Nigel. We stayed in the Bramling Room which was very large with a spacious ensuite and lovely views over the property. Hallwood Farm was the first stop after our flight from Australia and... More

Our four day stay at Hallwood farm in October was a delight. The charming and spacious rooms are mericulously prepared, with great attention to detail. While the old oak beams give the rooms great character, the bathrooms are modern with generous toiletries and large, soft towels. Sarah's breakfasts are a highlight and include a wide range of delicious foods. Even... More

This is a five star bed and breakfast located in the heart of National Trust properties near Hawkhurst, Kent. It was perfectly located for morning, afternoon or day excursions which we enjoyed immensely. Our room was large and Sarah, the owner, had thought of absolutely everything. It was also spotless. There were many special touches and her attention to detail... More

This is the fourth time my wife and I have stayed at the Oast house and a perfect time was had. Sarah makes you feel very welcome and cooks one of the best breakfasts I've had. There is plenty to choose from at breakfast time so whatever your taste you won't be disappointed. With so many places to visit within... More
