Really, really good place to stay. We were here for just two nights in the middle of May and everything was excellent. Not an inexpensive B & B - however it beats many hotels in offering every amenity and the surrounding farm countryside, acres of apple trees in full blossom, were most picturesque, with a quiet garden to enjoy the... We stayed at Hallwood Farm Oast House for 2 nights mid April and, like all the other reviews, cannot praise it highly enough. Both rooms are beautifully decorated (we had one and our friends the other) and we really appreciated the extra little touches such as homemade cake, elderflower cordial (delicious!) and fudge in the rooms. If you need it,... More

I had read the other reviews so felt quite confident when booking to stay at Hallwood Farm and I was not disappointed. We stayed in the room named Fuggle and it was beautiful. It was really tastefully decorated and with lovely touches such as homemade cake and chocolate fudge which was delicious. There was fresh milk, elderflower juice and cold... More

We have just returned from a 4 day trip to Kent, staying at this wonderful B&B.....cannot praise it highly enough. Everything was absolutely perfect and the room we stayed in - Brambling - was just lovely, so comfortable and perfectly equipped. The bathroom is gorgeous! We slept comfortably in the roomy double bed, and were spoiled with fantastic breakfasts each... More

Sarah provides the epitome of comfort in her lovely oast house B and B. We wanted for nothing and we were so comfortable in our room. On a damp November evening we were warm and cosy. The bed was big and the mattress good,,the television and wi-fi worked and we had a cheering 'flame fire'. The bathroom is tastefully equipped... More

We spent 2 nights at Hallwood Farm recently and can only agree with what everyone else has said about this place. The house is stunning, the rooms are amazing, the local area is beautiful and the surrounding villages are lovely. We stayed in the Bramling room. It was comfortable, cosy and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, there was... More

We stayed here for six nights in September. We can not elaborate much on previous reveiws, except to agree. Our room (Bramling) was very clean and comfortable, and large enough to have its own sitting area and large bathroom. There was a selection of teas, coffee and a bowl of fresh fruit. A silent fridge contained fresh milk, elderflower cordial... More

This is the third stay for me. Sarah is the ultimate in hosting a B & B. She has a real flair for preserving the old oast into a beautiful B & B. She has a real flair for decorating. The bedrooms are spacious as are the bathrooms. There is homemade Elderberry Cordial in the refridgerator that is to die... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was a fantastic experience. We couldn't have wished for anything better, from the beautiful room with very welcome seating area, comfy bed and spotless bathroom to the wonderful, tasty breakfast. Sarah is the perfect hostess, with lots of local knowledge regarding places to visit and dine. Plus, she also makes the most... More

In 1990 Sarah and Nigel Wickham took over an almost derelict oast house on a family farm. They created a home to bring up their family, to run a b& b and for Nigel to run his (mainly) fruit farm. It was a great privilege to be able to spend two nights there. All the praise in the other reviews... More
