Cannot say enough good things about this B&B. The hosts are amazing, having thought of everything a guest could possibly need and more. Great breakfasts (including homemade jams and marmalade), great advice on places to visit, clean, comfortable rooms (we stayed in both the Oast House and the Garden Room, and both were perfect for our needs), tea and cake... Thank you for those words. We enjoyed having the charm of three Texan ladies here. Very interesting for Corinna to here about places you have in common. You packed in a lot while you were here but as you know, there's loads more so we hope y'all come back to see it from here. (There, I said it this time) More

We have just returned from two nights staying in the Garden Cottage and cannot recommend highly enough. The room was more like a suite with a seating area and there were lovely touches like a huge selection of books and a jar of delicious homemade flapjacks and brownies. Sean and Corinna were wonderful and helpful hosts, and the breakfasts were... More

The walking season is beginning to be upon is and there are plenty more to do when you're not too busy. Then there are all the other less strenuous but fascinating things around. Thank you so much for your good comments and we should love to see you back again, with the family. More

We stayed 3 nights in this superb B&B in a lovely setting. Warm and friendly hosts with meticulous attention to detail. Nothing is too much trouble to ensure your stay is totally enjoyable. Greeted on arrival with tea and cake and absolutely wonderful breakfasts to set you up for the day. We will return when hopefully the weather is better.

The weather is just struggling to make amends for all its bad behaviour and you will certainly enjoy this lovely part of Kent all the more in the bee buzzing sunshine. The National Trust visits you came for are legion and the variety, we hope, will bring you back more than once. Thank you for saying such nice things. More

We stayed for two nights in the garden house, which can only be summed up as perfect. Sean and Corinna made us feel so welcome and could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The Garden House had everything you might possibly need and more. The bed was very comfortable...and how lovely to be woken to... More

It was really lovely to have you both here and thank you for your kind feed back. It means a lot to us. I very much enjoyed our chats - I've only just explained the technology that goes into making the aerosol cans to my son! Brilliant. I hope you will return again soon, and maybe then you will have... We spent a very comfortable four nights in the Garden Cottage at Godwin House. Sean welcomed us with tea and homemade carrot cake which was delicious. This was the start of an excellent stay. Each morning we were treated to a very tasty full English breakfast (the sausages were divine) and lovely homemade bread and preserves. Both Sean and Corinna... More

We think the sausages are brilliant too. They come from a local farm and the thing is you have to come back for more because they have quite a number of different ones. I know you like to escape at this time of year but it would be great to have you back in sunnier times. It is always beautiful... More

We stayed this week in the midst of much rain and windy weather but the garden cottage was so cosy and comfortable. Delicious carrot cake and tea on arrival and at breakfast there were home made preserves to accompany wonderful home made milk bread as well as a marvellous selection of fruit, cereals and a "full English". Corinna and Sean... More

It was really lovely to have you here and we're glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. I'm sorry that we couldn't change the weather for you - this rain never seems to stop! Nothing quite like enjoying the beach in gale force winds to blow away the cobwebs! And so happy that you enjoyed your meal at Apicius.... More

We only say that Corinna & Sean are the perfect hosts as well as having a lovely house with a cottage accommodation that is worthy of being named the best in Cranbrook ! Not only is the accommodation first class but the little touches such as fresh flowers, fresh milk & biscuits. Even the offer of a Gin & Tonic!... More

We had the pleasure of staying at Godwin House over a weekend. The accommodation is split into two, the smaller oast house, apparently the oldest in England, and the slightly larger garden room. Both are beautifully furnished and there are plenty of thoughtful touches such as the alarm clocks with iPod docks, WiFi and small sweet treats to be enjoyed... More

We really enjoyed entertaining the entertainers and having your talented family as our guests. It's what makes our business fun. Thank you for highlighting the details which we think are really important in making for a memorable visit but which can often be overlooked. We work on the principle of making it how we would like it to be if... More

The history and the atmosphere of the whole area rubs off on us. We think we're very privileged to live here and we did enjoy sharing it with you for your birthday. You're right about the Oast House being unique. It is a very special place so you must come back since you can't get it anywhere else - though... More
