Great central location for visiting Kent by car. Pretty 2d story (English 1st story) bedroom overlooking the back garden and cultivated fields beyond. On checking in, ask for a breakfast table at the back window so you can watch the tiny rabbits on the lawn. Best B&B breakfast in England, cold and cooked, in a pretty breakfast room. Lynn is... If you are planning a short night away or a lengthy stay this gem of a B&B is a must. Ideally placed within easy reach of Tenterden this is a great base to a host of excellent local restaurants and a great setting for rest and relaxation. My wife and I have a 10 month old son and chose the... More

This is a real find, Why would anyone stay in soulless hotels when they can stay here? Lyn was the most fantastic hostess - even before we arrived the booking was spot on with a dinner reservation at the local pub made on our behalf. There was a warm and cheery welcome and an offer of a lift down to... More

I booked this accommodation at very short notice for two nights, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, for my in laws and my disabled mother. I had originally booked the Bakehouse for the two days, but a few days before Christmas, I received a phone call to say that they could only accommodate us for one night as their family had... More

Have stayed at Barclay Farmhouse a couple of times (new years eve) and its one of the best we have stayed in. Lynn is a lovely host who cannot do enough for you. It is spotlessly clean and the food is lovely. What more can we say?! We will definitely be returning in the Summer. Highly recommended.

Just returned home from a three night break. I didn't want to come home. Barclay farm house is one of the best B&B's I've been lucky enough to stay in. The rooms are lovely, immaculately clean and presented, breakfast is to die for! Lynn is a truly lovely lady and her love for her business shines through. The care she... More

We have stayed many times at Barclay Farmhouse and have only once left a review, so felt it was about time we did another. What can we say that hasn't been said before? The accommodation is lovely, comfortable and spotless and the breakfast is a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. Lynn & Howard are so welcoming... More

We had stayed for one night in September during our six day trip in England. Lynn had e-mailed upon our reservation to ask if we need a restaurant booking for that evening. It is a lovely secluded B&B with rooms in a separate barn section that is next to the house. The rooms are tastefully done with oak wood floors... More

We stayed here for three nights in September; we had booked for two but decided almost immediately that it was so perfect that we would stay an extra night. Lynn's hospitality is wonderful and she prepares just a great breakfast using local produce. We tried two local restaurants and both were excellent; The Raja of Kent and The Three Chimneys.... More
