Beautifully clean and cosy room with lovely sea view. Extremely friendly, helpful staff and a magnificent breakfast . Although we didn't have dinner at the pub the food there had been recommended by friends who had.. Highly Recommended

We had a table of 7 on a busy Saturday night. Order from the bar, food delivered to table. Food was great and good value. We had one dish of cold veg, but was soon sorted. Drinks were expensive and service could be a bit friendlier and more attentive, but we would go again on a quieter night.

This hotel is ideal if you need to take the ferry next morning or if you arrive in the late afternoon due to its close proximity to the ferry terminal. Rooms are clean and have pleasant extras such as bottles of water and various fruit on the dressing table. Food here is good and served in large portions but wine... More

My friend and I visited the Bugle yesterday and were warmly greeted by the staff who were helpful and friendly. We ordered two meals and two drinks for less than 25 pounds. The meals came out really quickly and were delicious and great value for money. Would definitely visit again :)

My husband and I always visit the Bugle for a pub lunch whenever we go to The Island with friends, usually for a day. However this year we decided to go for a weekend visit to celebrate our 58th wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. We d taken a friend who lives on The island out for lunch so were... More

Having spent two nights at the Bugle in January, I found the accommodation excellent. The full breakfasts were more than enough to set you up for the day. The place was clean and well run by the manager John. I had a little trouble opening the main door when coming back late at night, but other than that all was... More

Just returned from a pleasant weekend away on the Isle of Wight staying at the Bugle Coaching Inn. Found the staff friendly, the pub spacious yet cosy, and the breakfasts were fab - could barely finish the portions! Bedroom was pretty good for a pub, with lots of tea and coffee, some fruit, leaflets on local attractions etc. Only thing... More

I spent an hour or so for a bite to eat at the Bugle and all was good with the meal. Unfortunately there was a young blonde lady drinking at the bar with two men who had a wonderful grasp of Anglo Saxon. Her entire conversation was punctuated with expletives and neither of the bar staff did anything to address... More

This is our third visit to the Bugle in the last 2 months and each time we've been impressed. We've sampled sandwiches, Sunday lunch, burgers, fish and chips and been really happy with everything. Quality ingredients well cooked & beautifully presented. Despite being busy the service has been swift with genuine care and attention. The only reason I haven't given... More
