We spent last weekend at this hotel with friends who had seen the rave reviews of the hotel and yurts in the travel press. We stayed for 2 nights in the yurts by the beach. The yurts were clean and nicely furnished with direct access to the beach, but a bit of a slog up to the hotel for breakfast... More

Location is superb although "private beach" means there is a gate onto the beach. "Private beach" is used by teenagers for night beach parties. Stayed in yurt near beach although limited sea view due to trees. Only 2 coat hangers in double wardrobe was not addressed during our 2 night stay. Water supply stops if nearby yurt uses water. Dinner... More

Miss Marple wasn't there...but she could have been! What a wonderful place to which we'll definitely return. We were looking for a special place to have lunch on our last day and as we drove down the long drive towards the hotel, we knew that this was IT. The hotel has history everywhere with some modern signs of 'health and... More

This was a special trip for a birthday celebration and to experience something different I decided to book one of the hotel's Yurts! What an experience we had..... Upon driving into the property the scenes were picturesque and breathtaking. The hotel building itself was beautiful and you could spend a morning/afternoon exploring the hotels grounds. The receptionist was very friendly... More

The Priory Hotel had been recommended to me and I decided to go and stay there with a friend. I do not know the Isle of Wight at all but the island and the Hotel lived up to all expectation. We walked on the Priory's glorious private beach and around the golf course, we sat in front of the hotel... More

The hotel is in a wonderful location situated close to its own private beach. An added bonus were sightings of red squirrels and a woodpecker in the hotel grounds. The bedrooms and communal space are both charming and elegant. The restaurant provides the most perfect food served with great style. The staff were excellent; the front of house manager deserves... We stayed here (my husband having read about it 10 years or so ago and always wanting to visit) for a two night honeymoon. We had room 12 - a most peaceful and calm room, up at the top of the hotel with a balcony and far reaching sea views. The beds were so comfy and it was a perfect... More

We have spent many happy holidays on the Isle of Wight and one of the high points has always been a visit to the Priory Bay Hotel, where we usually have a morning drink, a trip to the beach, then return for a light lunch; and occasionally we also book for an evening meal. Last Monday, holidaying in St. Helens,... More

My wife and I had an amazing wedding weekend at Priory Bay hotel, we booked out the hotel with the majority of our guests staying on site - we had a fantastic time! The location is amazing, with beautiful forest, pristine grounds (including 6 golf holes and tennis courts) and access to probably the best beach on the Isle of... More

I've got a superoffer on Booking, so I spent really few money comparing the room, the place, the location we had...simply perfect! We ordered breakfast from the menu (not included in the price) and I think was a bit poor but for the rest nothing more to say! Geeat!
