Stayed in the Boathouse's family room with lovely corner sea views in a nice quiet location at the end of the esplanade. The room has lovely tasteful décor, comfortable beds and good bathroom. A children's sofabed completed the set-up which again was very comfortable, although taking up a good portion of the available space in the room once out. The... More

We stopped here for a pudding after taking a walk from the restaurant we had eaten dinner at. Wish we had found it earlier as it was really nice and would definitely had gone back for a meal but it was our last evening. There was a good atmosphere, service was friendly and quick, and the desserts were really tasty.... More

Myself and my family stopped at this pub on Sunday for lunch. It was very busy but we still managed to get a table to fit us all around. The drinks were quite expensive but I suppose you are paying for the views. The food looked very nice but we decided not to eat as our grandchildren were very hungry... More

We found this Hotel/B&B/Pub while driving around looking for a different place altogether. It doesn't look so great from the outside but it is really very good. The location is on the seafront near Ryde and the views across the beach across the Solent towards Portsmouth are lovely (in sunshine). The interior is very smart and there are tables outside... Party of four for lunch on a Saturday. Wide variety on menu, with crab and lobster featuring along with small plates for those with a lesser appetite. All food nicely presented and promptly served. You order drinks and mains from the bar, but the waitress very kindly took dessert orders and delivered them to the table. Very clean with beautiful... More

Marvellous location with views over the sea. Room lovely but en suite could do with updating. Would have liked darker/thicker curtains to keep out the light. However, the staff were amazing - we attended a birthday dinner there and some guests were reluctant to leave but there was no sign of resentment from the staff that they were having to... More

We ate here but did not stay here. The hotel restaurant is fairly pricey, £3.30 for a pint of Diet Coke, but the food was nice (we had a cooked breakfast). Was more puzzled though that such a fashionable place didn't have a veggie breakfast alternative and we had to explain to them how to remove the meat items to... More

We stayed here over the weekend as we were going to a wedding locally. I think my friends and I took all the rooms in fact! The pub part is lovely, staff are very friendly & welcoming. We ate lunch there and the food is fresh & very tasty. Onto the B&B, we were there for 2 nights & the... More

Visited this restaurant on a recent trip to the Isle of Wight. Nice big patio area which would be great when the weather improves. We didn't book but as it was a Monday it was not a problem. We were seated by the young chat that served at the bar. The decor was nice and quite modern but kept the... More

Our arrival was a bit lacklustre, the greeting was business-like and unfriendly. We booked a room facing the beach with glorious views over the Solent. The bedroom was a good size and nicely decorated with plenty of storage space and a very comfy bed and pillows. The bathroom was very tired, the bath enamel was chipped, a floor standing storage...
