We stayed with Diana and John for a short weekend break and they made a great stay on the Isle even better. The Farm is in a great location quiet and away from the town but still close enough for a walk into Ryde if you feel energetic. The Farm itself is a beautiful and the room was nice and... More

I was taken to the Isle of Wight for a surprise weekend and my boyfriend was recommended to Newnham Farm. We know why!!! The farm was beautiful and so homely. The room was so clean and everything was catered for. Breakfast was fantastic and we had so much choice. Di and her husband are so welcoming and even dropped us... More

Stopping on the island for a swift weekend away, we found the farm wonderfully peaceful and friendly from the moment we arrived. A walk around the garden watching the ducks and swinging on the rope swing was a welcome relief after a long journey. Lots of recommendations and (very kindly) a lift into town for dinner with a torch to... More

Just home from a week at Newnham Farm. What a marvellous house this is. We felt so comfortable in this beautiful place. Di looked after us so kindly and cheerfully, cooking delicious breakfasts. The breakfast table is a delight. Lovely fresh fruits, eggs from her chickens, a range of home made jams and marmalade and a vase of scented roses... More

Already the reception with shortbread and tea in this beautiful garden, between squirrels and ducks, was an experience. Diana and John looked after us very familiar and had always useful tips. After a lovingly cooked full british breakfast with homemade bread, jams and fresh fruit, we were able to visit the sights of the island. Even our 13 year old... More

We stopped here for a party over the weekend, and as we oulled in (Early) we were greated so warmly. The grounds were fantastic, with a beautiful pond and gardens, our 3 year old was ofered the chance to collect some eggs from the hens (Which was great) and then given a tour of the house before all the other... We chose to stay at Newnham Farm because it was close to Briddlesford Woods where we were taking part in a PTES dormice encounter. The other reviews here were promising and we were not disappointed. Diana is an engaging and welcoming host, with John, and we felt very much at home. The many thoughtful touches in the spacious bedroom (homemade... More

After a long and arduous 70 mile bike ride round the island, I really wanted to stay somewhere where I felt totally cossetted and comfortable, in a relaxed environment with all the home comforts around me - and I totally found all of these things at Newnham Farm. Diana was a very gracious host who cared completely for us as... More

This is the very best b and b we have ever stayed in. The most beautiful house, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We loved going back to our room after a day out, crisp white bedlinen, comfortable armchairs, shortbread for afternoon tea.
