We spent several days at Yelf's, booking a couple of rooms (one for parents, one for kids). The rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. The rooms were nicely furnished with closets and desks, and the bathroom had a full-sized bath with shower nozzle. We stayed in the main building of the hotel (not the annex). We were warned about... We stayed at this hotel for a three night break 19th to 22nd August. The bar area of the hotel is very nice, the room that we were in, room16 was very poor. It faces Union Street and is really noisy, not only the traffic but people coming out of pubs and the noise went on till very late. Unfortunately... More

Having stayed in Yelf's before we knew what to expect, a good basic hotel - clean and tidy with first rate staff. A slight disappointment then was staying in the Annexe across the road looking over a blocked gutter channel across Union Street to the main hotel and suffered from the exuberance of Ryde's night life as well as early... Stayed overnight to attend a party on the island and this hotel was booked by a friend. Pleased with the hotel. Perfect location in high street. The rooms are basic but clean with nice facilities. The hotel has a split site and if over the road from the main hotel has adequate disability access but this cannot be said of... More

Where do I start The hotel is divided into 3 annexes luck of the draw in to which you stay the free car park is a street away The other reviews about the disrepair of the hotel are all true sellotape holding wallpaper up and so forth .my room... I am sorry to hear that your stay with us was not to our usual high standard, which is something we pride ourselves with here at yelfs. You have said that the hotel is split between 3 annexes, just to confirm we have the main hotel and we have 9 bedrooms located directly opposite the hotel which also holds rooms... More

I stayed here with work in early August. The hotel is relatively basic but not awful. My room was very big and had all the mod-cons - wifi, TV, etc. However, it looks pretty dated and it could do with a lick of paint. The service was friendly and the hotel central. The breakfast was ok, but there was no... More

I am staying at the Yelfs Hotel on the Isle of Wight and what a pleasure it is. Not the poshest hotel in the world but friendly comfortable and you are made to feel at home. I can't help but recommend it. The food is good and the staff are great. Worth a visit
