Lovely B&B and the hosts can't do enough for you. They have a super sense of humour and make you feel really at home. My room was extremely cosy and spotlessly clean with ensuite. The chocolate on the pillow every day was/is a nice touch. Breakfast was superb; couldn't fault it. Within walking distance of Ryde Promenade, beaches, train stations,... More

Ten minutes for the main street in Ryde, a good B & B. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. Comfortable room - not huge but had all you could possibly want. Decent breakfast with a good range of choices. Very quiet area. We had to leave early to get a ferry, and our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating about breakfast.

Found this booking on the web, by good fortune it turned out! We wanted to attend the IOW Scooter Rally and the 2 Soul Nights at Newport FC. The lovely folk at San Remo couldn`t have been kinder or better hosts. This small family run B&B must be one of the best on the Island. Home from home no nonsense... More

Joan and Brian were so welcoming and helpful. Comfortable room and very nice toiletries in bathroom. Travelling on my own, it was lovely to enjoy their company over a delicious breakfast. Easy walk from the seafront/port - unless you've got too much luggage!

I echo sentiments of the other reviewers. This is the best B&B I have found in Ryde. I hope to return. Joan & Brian are excellent hosts and provided a superb breakfast. Brian also very kindly drove me to the Fastcat on my departure which saved any anxiety about taxis not appearing in time. Thanks for going the extra mile... More

I had another excellent stay at the San Remo last Christmas while visiting 'in-laws' in Ryde. I had expected room-only at most but Joan and Brian, wonderful hosts that they are, offered to provide breakfast as well. Everything about my stay was lovely, from the comfortable bed in a room which was clean, quiet, cosily warm and beautifully decorated, to... More

I visited friends in Ryde for four days last autumn and my stay at San Remo helped to make it a wonderful little holiday. San Remo has everything I think one hopes for in a B&B: clean and warm, with comfortable beds, good quality breakfast and pleasant hosts. Joan and Brian are excellent hosts, offering just the right amount of... More

We try to visit Ryde every year but had to find ourselves new lodgings this year and we must say, we are very happy with San Remo. It is located close enough to the beach and town for easy access, and far enough away for easy parking (if you know Ryde, it can be difficult to get parked). Our room... More
