Just arrived back from the seahaven from a 3 day break. We were met by the owner with a Luke warm reception. The room was very small and the shower the size of a cupboard. The whole place needs a face lift. We were told breakfast was at 8.30 to 9.30am; but you had to make sure you were down... More

James gave us a warm welcome, though very brief. Lots of stairs to get to our room. Very basic, shower room small and out dated, basin cracked and shower very small and difficult to get in and out of, very high step, exposed pipework that was not that appealing or clean. Bedroom furniture sad and old fashioned,T.V. with freeview box... More

Great sea view but room was small and decor 'tired'. Bed was a small double but comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very cramped. Breakfast was very good and staff very pleasant. Overall this hotel was fine for one night and the location ideal for travellers using the ferry or train station.

To be fair we booked cheap and cheerful accommodation and that's what we got, well cheap anyway! The proprietor seemed friendly enough but there only seemed to be him running the show including cooking breakfast which by the way was tasty and ok. The room was more akin to youth hostel standard, and in need of a face lift, as... More

The location is just a couple of minutes from the pier, and is close to many good places to eat and drink. the public transport hub is at the pier too, making the location an ideal base to explore from. The management went the extra mile to allow me to leave my case in a safe place whilst I wandered... More

Stayed here one night in a family room early October. Great sea views and just a couple of minutes from the pier. Main street with lots of restaurants just around the corner. Staff very friendly and lots of suggestions where we could eat. Large selection available for breakfast. Would stay here again as it is a great spot and good... More

A short walk from the Ferry, short walk to the Bus Depot and surrounded by great eateries, Seahaven is an ideal place to explore the Island from. Breakfast is too good!! Cheryl and Jim are very handy for local recommendations. Our room had a view of the Pier and Sea and whilst the room isnt huge, we just slept there... More

Coming over to the IoW on foot via the Fastcat ferry out of Portsmouth, a short train hop up the long pier and there it is! We have stayed at this B&B a number of times over the years, mainly for its handy location. The current owners despite having to battle with the consequences of floods earlier in the year... More

I had no expectations of Seahaven house other than the standard to which I would expect for the price of stay. The location was great and even though there was no parking belonging to the B&B there was parking just across the road at a reasonable price. The room had basic elements however it was with lovely homely touches with... More

Perfect hotel. Exceptionally friendly staff. Hotel location is excellent. Literally 5 min walk from the ryde pier. If travelling using train/ public transport, excellent location. Shower wasn't great. After submitting a review via booking.com, instantly got feedback from the hotel owners - excellent customer service. The breakfast couldn't be any better. Overall service excellent. Brilliant area to connect to the... More
