Excellent, could not be better, Second visit and just as good as the first. Spotlessly clean, a very good breakfast, lots of biscuits, hot chocolate, different types of teas/coffees, It is in a very good position for the ferry and also buses, many thanks to sue and cara for a wonderful stay. Best place on the isle of wight.

I have just come back from staying at Sorrento Lodge for a week and to be honest, I didn't want to leave! I agree with the majority of every other review - the room and shower room were spotless, there were loads of 'goodies' sitting on our pillows lying in wait for you every time we came in at the... About 5 mins cycle from the ferry, on a pretty quiet street near the front. Lovely friendly welcome. Spotless rooms, well appointed with tons of biscuits and tea including herbal and fruit tea which is a first for me in a UK hotel. Welcome pack on the bed-toothbrush, toothpaste etc. Comfy bed, Good little ensuite with a good shower. Road... More

What a fantastic b&b. A few of us were cycling round the island and needed a b&b for our last night before catching the ferry back to Portsmouth. The Sorrento Lodge wanted no deposit when I booked and didn't want payment when I had to cancel one of the rooms a week before. Location is great, on the sea front... More

Have stayed in various places around Ryde over the years when on business but this was by far the best. I don't know what the guests that left a bad review were talking about as the owners had no problem providing breakfast early. I think some people leave a bad review just for the hell of it

The Sorrento came very well recommended by a friend who spent her honeymoon there last year, and completely lived up to her enthusiasm. The staff are really lovely and made us feel welcome. The breakfast is gigantic, and I loved the fruit buffet, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, melon with pouring yogurt, dried fruits, cereals and still the fantastic fry-up to... We really enjoyed our stay at the Sorrento Lodge. It's a fantastic location just across the road from the beach walk. The staff were fantastic especially Cara who really looked after us, nothing was a problem for her and she made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfasts were terrific with so much choice of cooked and wonderful fresh fruit, muesli... More
