....if you are visiting Osborne House. You can walk there in about 5 mins and it's a 10 minute walk down to the chain ferry to Cowes and some good pubs and restaurants. We had a very pleasant stay in a lovely spacious room. Great water pressure in the shower. Very good breakfasts. It is a lovely house and is... More

Booked here to visit Osbourne House, where Victoria and Albert had a holiday home. The hotel is not a hotel but glorified b&b, the web site is misleading saying it has a restaurant but it does not! The rooms shown on the web site do not reflect the room my friend and I shared. The curtains did not close and... More

Lovely quaint little hotel with really nice staff. We stayed there over the isle of wight festival and they extended breakfast for us on sunday to let us have a lie in after a heavy saturday night! Clean rooms with great showers.

My husband and I spent two nights at the hotel while in Cowes for a family wedding. We loved our room (Room 1) which was enormous and very well appointed. The hotel is more like staying in a country house and is very historic. Can't understand why people moan about no reception desk as it is not necessary. Plenty of... More

I booked here for a relaxing weekend away, and it was a lovely surprise. A beautiful hotel full of history and character. There is no reception desk, as others have pointed out, but the confusion this causes is minimal to nil - we simply walked towards an open door, alerted a member of staff we had arrived and they took... My partner and I stayed here for one night and chose a suite which was only slightly more expensive than the other available rooms. I'm very glad we did as it was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. All the little touches have been thought of including robes, water and toiletries. Breakfast was ample and well cooked, my only small criticism... More

I have just spent a couple of days here. The staff were attentive, polite and friendly. Then when I saw the room. Well I was amazed. Fantastic is just not good enough for it. Lots of room and a great bathroom. They have spent a lot of time and money to make it as authentic as possible. The wedding area... More

I booked the private dining room here for my Dad's 90th Birthday celebrations. From start to finish the staff could not have been more helpful. The events manager was excellent and kept me informed every step of the way. The menu choices were varied and suited everyone and the price was very reasonable. There were children in the party and... More
