A poor experience. Room and facilities were down at heel . Room was tired , lacking cleanliness, sparkle and facilities - the previous guest's dirty laundry was still in the room. Attempts to raise concerns were met with a very odd attitude - considering that this is a customer service industry. Is the lack of interest because the hotel is... More

Same as other - we found the place dirty, shabby and not looked after. The management not friendly or straight up. Over priced and as others have said fifty pounds a night would be more than enough. Would avoid to be honest.

After a frantic night in the centre of Cowes we were looking forward to a relaxing couple of nights at Rawlings. Check in was not exactly welcoming. We wanted to just throw in our bags but that wasn't easy! The room needed a really good clean. A cotton bud and red fluff on the bathroom floor. Wrapping and a bottle... More

Stayed in the large family room again, fantastic for 3 kids and 2 adults, staff were very helpful and the pool was an added bonus which the kids used every day. Will be going again next year thanks! Visited Arreton barns which was a nice day out, Robin Hill for the kids was great and nice walks for the adults.... More

We stayed at the Rawlings Hotel for 2 nights. I booked this hotel because from the description on the website, it looked beautiful. When we arrived the only person on duty was a young lad, he was very polite and helpful. Our room waa clean and bright and the bed was comfortable. After our first night's stay we had a... More

Thank you for your response, it would have been good for you to mention something at the time!. Im glad you had a nice room which was clean and tidy, a nice breakfast and the staff were polite. For some reason your room must have been in the middle of being done and something happened for the housekeeper to be... More

We have just arrived home after a lovely stay at the Rawlings Hotel in Cowes. We had walked from Yarmouth using the coastal path and received a very warm welcome when we arrived at the hotel. Our room was lovely, we had a fantastic view over the sea and it was clean, tidy and very well furnished, just what we... More

My sister and I recently stayed here for the Isle of Wight music festival. It was a lovely stay and the staff were very friendly particularly Denise. The breakfast was great and the room just what we needed (beats a crowded campsite!). We were also located in the annex which was great as most nights we were returning in the... More

Stayed recently with a group of friends. Pre-booking was all very efficient and helpful. Arrived to a somewhat subdued welcome to be told breakfast started at 9am when we needed to be away by 9am! Informed them that their leaflet said breakfast from 8am so they changed their mind. Rooms perfectly OK and I guess what you get at this... More

The hotel bar closes at 9pm unless required by guests to open for longer which we are always happy to accommodate. The hotel does not close at 6pm at any time of the year although this may change this winter if it is very quiet. As the hotel has out side rooms they are given a back gate key to make... More

I have recently celebrated my 50th Birthday at Rawlings Hotel in Cowes. I had about 65 guests at the party. The 16 rooms at the hotel were all fully booked by my friends and family who travelled from the mainland. I heard nothing but fabulous comments from all of them: how lovely their rooms were; how clean and spacious; how... More

We found the staff very friendly and the breakfast was particularly good with plenty of choice.
