Absolutely fantastic! The Gables is idyllically locted in the beautiful Weobley, one of the villages on Herefordshire's black & white trail. David and Sian are fantastic hosts, extremely welcoming and helpful with all sorts of advice. Wonderfully comfortable room with a magnificent four poster bed. Truly excellent, this guest house is run with passion and a lot of love and... More

After doing the Weobley Heritage Trail on a Saturday afternoon, we found ourselves in the village centre, gagging for a cuppa. Much of the village appeared closed, otherwise we might not have found the Gables, even though it is right there in the centre, but we're glad we did because it was a treat! We were cautious entering as the... More

My husband and I stopped here for afternoon tea after seeing the sign in the street. It was absolutely delicious. A large warm scone with jam and cream and a refreshing cup of tea. The tea rooms is charming filled with interesting bits and pieces. A real gem.

We found this little treasure last Easter when following the black and white trail. The Tea rooms was a welcome haven from the bitter cold, with its roaring fire and homely decoration. This Easter we returned no roaring fire, it certainly was not needed, we were even tempted to sit outside but we decided we wanted to enjoy the charming... More

Our room was warm and the four poster bed very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was superb. All in all a great place to stay in the peaceful countryside and at a reasonable cost.

I stayed here in order to be fresh for a job interview locally. Sian, the proprietress, was friendly and cheerful, the room was clean with a comfortable oak four poster bed and the full English breakfast was superb. I got the job, so might well be back for another night or two whilst house-hunting in the area :)

This guesthouse is the nicest I have stayed in England. David and Sian are very welcoming perfect hosts. Weobley is a nice village with lovely black and white houses. The rooms of the Gables are beautiful and very quiet, the pretty well-kept garden is a perfect place for relaxing. We enjoyed the time in the Gables very much and we... More

Very welcoming, great big sandwiches, and qute individual. The solitary toilet doesn't alwaays cope with the coourtyard full of people, and there is a relaxed air of slight shabbiness. Sitting at the end of the seat at one of the picnic tables, I was nearly dropped to the cobbles when the person at the other end got up and the somewhat... More
