We stayed here for three nights in November to do some walks in the area. The accommodation was first class. Tastefully decorated room and very comfortable. Lin and Martin made us very welcome and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast each morning prepared by them. Many thanks.

We stayed here one night whilst visiting our son at college in Hereford. We were initially looking for a hotel in the centre of Hereford but what we found was one really expensive one (which looked very nice) and a number of reasonable price hotels but all looking like they needed some TLC. Then by venturing 3 miles out of... More

The Steppes is situated in a quiet idyllic setting. Our room was spotless, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had homemade cookies waiting for us when we arrived, which were much appreciated. We were very please to see bottled milk in our fridge as the catering pots never taste the same. The room has it's own front door, so we didn't... More

My hubby and I stayed only one night when we were travelling with friends and are so glad that we did. The owners are wonderful, welcoming people and the accommodation fantastic. Our rooms were very spacious and clean and you can see that the owners keep a high standard for themselves. The pub which was recommended to us for dinner... More

The Steppes had been recommended to us and we were not disappointed. Eight of us stayed over for the halloween weekend. Clean, warm, modern rooms with attention to detail ensuring that your stay is as comfortable as possible. Gorgeous breakfast and lovely homely dining area. Great, thoughtful hosts. We will certainly be staying again.

We stayed at the Steppes B & B in Herefordshire as we were attending a wedding in the area. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, the suite we stayed in above the garage was lovely, there was plenty of parking and all in very attractive surroundings. We unfortunately could not stay for breakfast but the menu of local produce... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at The Steppes in Lugwardine for just one night as the sweet ending to our first motorbike tour. We arrived in the evening at sunset and met Lin as she was going to put the chickens in and Martin who showed us our room. Recently finished King suite bedroom with full bathroom overlooking the garden... More

Stayed here for two nights, a very enjoyable experience. The rooms are well equipped and very clean, the home made scones were an unexpected treat. The breakfast menus had so many lovely things on it that it was hard to choose. Another big plus point is the rooms have their own front door so you can come and go without... More

With our GPS and a couple of phone calls we managed to find the B&B and were not in any way disappointed, this must be one of the best B&B's in the UK if not the world. The room we were in was brand new and nothing was wanting. It even had a fridge, which is sadly lacking in most... More
