Really friendly. Great food. A real get away for a small team build. Nothing to much trouble. The location is stunning. lots of great walks for thinking time and preparing for group exercises. You will really want to come back for a Sunday Lunch.

Yes after a lunch in the beautiful settings and a chat with Richard and Miranda we have booked our wedding here!!!!!! It is small and cosy so very intimate just what we want, stunning views, great menu, shabby chic, and on site rooms, we have block booked all the rooms for 2 nights for our family the evening before and... Our family have just been back for the second time for a weekend stay, again booking 4 rooms. We found a very helpful and friendly atmosphere and staff. And it's quirky, which we all like, with lovley walks on the doorstep. And an excellent breakfast. We've already booked another weekend for the near future. We have fun there!

We stayed for one night and although the room was small the bed was very comfortable, the ensuite was also small but suited the requirements. The old mill and the grounds are stunning. There are 2 parts to the hotel, the old mill and the house next door, we had a room in the house. We had drinks in the... More

We booked this hotel for one night to enable us to stay local to a friends's 50th birthday party. Originally the booking was for 2 rooms with 2 adults in each. Unfortunately after booking one of our party passed away. I called the hotel and explained the situation and visited the hotel and asked that the two rooms could be... More

We were a group of eight and every aspect of our night's stay exceeded expectations. The Mill is as attractive as it looks in the photographs and the location beside the canal lock is superb. We recieved a warm welcome and, after drinks in the garden, had a delicious, jovial meal in the ancient bar and dining room, seated beside... More

Whilst using the dry dock at the marina next door we had a couple of meals at the mill and we were perfectly happy with the food and the service. We visited on the first night of our stay and had dinner with some friends. The restaurant was busy and even though it seemed a little understaffed, Richard was still... More

The directions given on their homepage made this location very easy to find. The Mill is set in a lovely location, with a little stream and canal only about 100 yards away. The Mill itself was very quaint and quite quirky looking. And we was greeted after a few minutes and led to our room, whilst being given a little... More

We arrived about 7 on a Friday night, and booked a table for the evening in the Bistro, which we would highly recommend! Breakfast was amazing, too! Food here us completely delicious and really plentiful! Setting is gorgeous by the canal and river, there's a thoughtful screen on the window to stop the bugs and moths coming in at night.... More

We had the misfortune to stay 2 nights. Having been there before about 25 years ago we expected a comfortable relaxing stay in an idyllic setting. How wrong we were. The only good thing left is the setting. Our room had peeling wallpaper and a very basic bathroom which had a musty smell. The extractor fan did not work and... More
