This is really an excellent place to stay. It's quiet, peaceful, has an excellent breakfast. We were flying out of Stansted in the late afternoon and the owners let us stay in the room until then for no extra charge. Thank you and we'll surely stay again! more

This an ideal place to stay if flying out of Stansted airport. The rooms are spotlessly clean with everything you would get if staying at a 4* hotel including tae and coffee making facilities plus biscuits. My stay at Latchmead Bed and Breakfast was much better than I had anticipated. The B&B is a family run business and the owners just make you feel like at home. I agree that the proprieters of Latchmeed are very nice, friendly people, but their B&B operation leaves MUCH to be desired! I'd suggest Pearse House B&B as a better alternative.
