Stayed here just for one night as I was out for a friends birthday, arrived and the receptionist tried to charge me more than what was agreed on the booking. Managed to get it sorted, was handed a key and told what room number I was. The whole building is falling apart, stinks of curry everywhere you go. Hairs all... More

Staff were friendly but basically you are staying in an indian restaurant , the rooms are tired although clean. I asked for a ground floor room as I have mobility issues we were put on the 1st floor as there wasnt any ground floor rooms, a very steep stir case with a bannister that stopped about 7 steps from the... Wow - what an amazing place! The only hotel I've ever stayed in with a yogurt pot for a bin :) If you like your TV to be the size of a postage stamp, then this is the place for you - look no further. No pressure on arrival - despite the swathes of people all arriving at the same... More

This place is a little gold mine if it was redecorated and cleaned! The chef in the Indian restaurant can cook quite well but the entrance is in appealing and very shabby. The furniture in the rooms are broken and the rooms smell. Such a shame as the location is great and they get such a lot of passing traffic... More

Fortunately we only needed a bed for a night and were looking for the cheapest place in town. Though at £55 a night for a twin room, even that may be too much for what we got. Whilst the staff were friendly, the room was a shock - dirty, covered in damp, filthy carpet, the window frame was rotten and... More

Had booked a Family Room at the beginning of May for an overnight stay on 21st June 2014. When we arrived reception staff said they had no knowledge of the booking, and there were no available rooms, I explained I had left my card details with them on booking the accommodation but they were adamant a booking hadn't been made,... Felt terrible reading about these awful reviews for a 'hotel' in my town. As a local, I have to explain that this is not a hotel for tourists but is rather a hostel as used by people who have nowhere to live and get rent paid by the local housing association. Please, don't stay here expecting a holiday experience!

Being from USA we didn't realize this hotel was not in the area we were going to be staying and tried canceling minutes after making the reservation. The owner told us that we should read the small print next time or stay in America. Worst owner!

There was a hole in the wall, no plugs, windows broken, curtains mouldy, damp and mould patches, broken wardrobe, very smelly, staff used to listen outside my room which was creepy, an absolute nightmare couldn't wait too leave. Would not return.

This has got to be the worst most vile smelly hotel ever. There is an accident waiting to happen completely against health and safety rules. Room stunk of smoke and damp. A plastic bag over the smoke alarm. The glass in the window of bedroom loose with a shard sticking out. The hall ceiling has a hole and was starting... More
