We visited for four nights over Easter, a very good location for touring the area and doing the Black and White trail. The Inn has 10 rooms an two floors We had room 4 on the ground floor, parking right outside, it had everything you might need, a super king bed, TV (a bit small), tea and coffee, kept very... More

Found this pub by accident while doing the black and white trail. Food was good and staff were nice. Prices were average. Place is clean. As others have already stated we had no cell phone coverage but that is not the fault of the pub.

We stopped her for a two night weekend break at short notice, as a result we were offered a double room with breakfast for £50 a night great value. The inn is in a small village with many properties of character on the main road through the village. As in the name set on the corner with a good sized... More

My girlfriend and I booked this as a last minute place to stop on a walking weekend split between Pen Y Fan and Church Stretton. We were well impressed! A beautiful, immaculate conversion at the back of the pub houses the b&b accommodation which was perfect. The pub itself is a gorgeous place to eat and drink. Evening meal and... More

As we booked through Laterooms.com, we only had to pay £50 for an otherwise £80 room for two, so we cannot complain about the cost. The room and the breakfast were absolutely fine for the money, but I think the owners must have been away, as the couple, managing the place, hardly spoke to each other and even less to... More

Excellent standard of accommodation which is modern and comfortable. The pub serves good beer and the restaurant serves fantastic dinners and breakfasts. Highly recommended unless you need wifi - so frustrating that this is so unreliable - what makes it worse is the attitude of the owner over the problem. Your laptop may have got access but me and several... More

We have stayed here many times, when we have visited family. The rooms have all the modern conveniences and the beds are comfortable. For breakfast, there are many choices, all quite delicious and prepared by one of the owners. Often we stop in the pub at the end of the day for a pint.

The good: Nice rooms, good breakfast, parking and plenty of space. Restaurant staff were cheerful and helpful. The not so good: We booked as a group, using all of the rooms and bringing other people from our group who stayed elsewhere locally in for evening dinner. We arranged a discounted rate but during our 4 day stay the landlord attempted... More

We, a cycling group booked a block booking early in the year at a discounted rate of GBP 67.50 When we stayed in the hotel at the end of August 2014 the owner tried to charge us the non discounted rate of GBP 80.00 despite us having confirmed bookings, this resulted in a very uncomfortable confrontation with the owner. We... More

We stopped here straight from an international airport and were able to recharge before moving on. The rooms are 21st century but the inn has parts dating back. Being an Inn you could come back to this haven for an evening meal and turn in when ready. The breakfasts were great too. There is plenty to see within a short... More
