Needed a last minute deal to take my other half away for our anniversary...The Manor of Groves had it all, golf, swimming pool and health club. It gave us a really relaxing and enjoyable weekend away. Food was good, plenty of menu options to chose from. Will definitiely return in the future. more

I recently stayed at the Maonor of Groves for a family wedding. on our night of arrival after a flight delay we hired a car and tried to make our way in the fog to the Manor of Groves hotel. The fog was so bad that night that i could not even see the road signs and was driving for... more

We are a family of 4 (1 4yr old and a 3 month old) and stayed at the Manor of Groves over a weekend whilst attending a friends wedding. I cannot reccomend this hotel highly enough. Your first impression when you first see the hotel is how clean and smart it looks. The staff are very helpful and cater for... more

Food at bar dreadful. Bread dry, filling meagre salad limp and uninteresting and they had run out of roast on a Saturday morning. Room was clean but small, only three tissues in the box, toilet extremely noisy, especially at three in the morning. Taps on the wash hand basin were worn out and the cold tap was loose. Bed was... more

Just had our wedding here and the staff were fantastic they went out of their way to help and we couldn't have asked for a better service or help on the day. The food was wonderful along with the setting. more

Stayed here for 4 nights for business with colleagues. First impressions - lovely, quiet location in a pretty village, up along drive surrounded but golf course. Quick check-in and reception lovely and bright and airy. Room was spacious, huge comfy bed, clean and nicely decorated. Very hot though and we wernt even having a heatwave! No air-con and window wouldn't... more

Stayed at hotel because friend was hosting a lunch there the next day. Room OK but toilet roll holder broken and sink plug did not seal basin. Hair dryer flex too short to comfortably use dryer and look in mirror at same time. Food at dinner OK. Main problem was we were given a room looking out over the front... more

My sister got married at Manor of Groves in April 09. We all had a great day, the sun was shining, the setting was perfect and all 200 guests loved this location. It was a tight schedule, an Indian Wedding, Civil Ceremony & then Evening Reception. The initial organisation was a breeze as communication with the Co-ordinator: Jade, was prompt... more

I went here for valentines day. i actually live just down the road and have been here a few times for functions and to meet friends who come to stay there. i was particularly disappointed with how basic the room was. it was an executive suite although i would hate to have seen anything on a lower par. the setting... more
