Stayed here this week as we were going to the Harry Potter tour in Leavesden, beautiful hotel, wouldn't think it was on the out skirts of London! Room was big and roomy. Excellent price and location for our last minute trip :)

Often stay here when in the Watford area on business. It's so relaxing and the staff are great. The older rooms are much nicer. The grounds and the golf course make you feel you are a long way from the M25 area, but you're not.

It was our Rotary Clubs 80th Anniversary and we booked the Shendish Manor Hotel for our dinner and dance for 110 guests. The sales office manager was extremely cooperative right from the beginning and helped us with almost everything that we needed. They even produced the table plan for us after we gave them the guest list. On the day,... More

What a great hotel, first time visiting and wasn't sure what to expect having booked it on a generic hotel booking site, however it was very good. The staff were welcoming and friendly, I did have to wait a while to check in but only because a member of the reception team was tied up on the phone sorting out... More

We stayed here for 1 night as we were down to visit Warner Brothers Studios the following day We arrived in the evening after a long drive and were greeted by the incredibly friendly and welcoming member of staff on reception. She quickly and efficiently handled our check in and was a real credit to the hotel. The room was... More

Stayed here recently on business for one night. The building is a real gem and the grounds lovely. It's location is great for access to M25, M1 and A41. Would be good for a Harry Potter visit. The food was good, beer cold and the service attentive. I stayed in room 30 which is near the reception in the main... More

Stayed here for 1 night on the 7th of October as it was relatively close to Warner Bros Studio tour which we were visiting the following day. Check in was pain free and the staff were very friendly. The place itself looked cool and our room was easy to find. Set back from the main road, it's in a quiet... More

Have visited for a conference, and also stayed recently. Very good rooms, spacious and well furnished (although internet TV was patchy if I'm honest - poor quality connection) - but WiFi solid, bar food excellent (taste and value) - let down by less-than-average breakfast - cold plates but an excellent large pot of tea. A few niggles, but overall a... More

Tea for Two as an anniversary gift but what a let down.On arrival was told to go into restaurant what a shock we expected something more relaxing but NO our table was set for two at a normal dining table and isolated at the end of the room, the dining area was still being cleared from lunch, so had waitresses...
