Stayed recently at the Rose and Crown. It's your traditional country style pub with rooms above. Bit tired looking but okay for what you pay. Main gripe we had was that it was freezing in our room. I went to bed on the first night with 2 jumpers and a scarf on! Very romantic...not! We did complain and were told... more

First of all I must complement the reception, bar & waiting staff, friendly and professional. Wonderful staff who will go out of their way to look after you , a real credit and bonus when you stay in a hotel. good food too, chef wants to impress and please, what a personal service.
