The stay was great. The staff was awesome, except for the reception who made me feel like an idiot because I didn't know how to use the radiator. We don't HAVE those here! LOL. Other than that, it was great. Don't use the phone. Even for local calls. It's 30 pence for 240 seconds. I don't know how much it... more

It was great that our guest from Nebraska had a good stay at Beales Hotel. I am of course deeply sorry that we were not as polite as we should have been about the radiator valve and will ensure this doesn't happen again. A word on telephone charges which traditionally have been expensive in hotels. With free broadband in every...

I stayed at Beales this week following a recommendation from a colleague. Room rate was just over £100 a night for a double room. I checked in late (approx 9.30pm) and the check in was quick and efficient. I had a room on the first floor. Having declined help with my luggage, I discovered that once I had wheeled my... more

I am very sorry that there were some minor things that went wrong with our Tripadvisor guest's stay. I would like to reassure all our readers and guests that any shower pressure problems have been long sorted now. Please note that there are about 5 stairs half way along the top floor corridor so we truly recommend taking us up...

Well what can i say from the moment we stepped in we were taken aback with the service cleanliness and modern artwork of this lovely find. hwen staying in a place like hatfield you would think that the best they would have to off would be your generic 3* but beales is far from that. check in was efffortless, we... more

Thank you to Lisa for a fab review following your stay at Beales Hotel. It is great when we get everything right, but equally important to learn when things go wrong. Lisa mentions the team at the hotel - well they are a joy to work with and are part of the wider Beales Hotels family. What a rare thing...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend while attending a music event in the area. Our friends were also staying. This hotel is not what I would expect from a 4* in terms of service. It looks nice, but I think the rooms should have been cleaner, especially the bathroom. My main problem is that the breakfast area... more

It looks like we got breakfast service wrong on this occasion for which I am truly sorry. I can assure all our Tripadvisor readers that this is not the norm at Beales Hotel and that usually we have a delicious breakfast with seating available to all comers. I have already instructed the hotel team to ensure that we have enough...

A lovely looking hotel in terms of design and decoration, and also very clean. The food in the restaurant is very nice and all in all could be a handy litlle place to stay. The only problem was the ridiculously noisy plumbing all throught the night that caused us to have to change rooms at 3am (this was after the... more

I am very sorry to hear of noisy pipework at Beales Hotel. We are investigating in full and will remedy the problem as soon as possible. This is normally caused by air locks in the plumbing and the pipes can be easily bled. If you are ever staying at Beales Hotel and experience this problem please tell us and we...

Comfortable, quiet room, we stayed mid-way on the 1st floor. Service at reception and restaurant excellent. Quality and selection of food available at breakfast was the best I've experienced in a long time. Would definitely use it again. more

A stylish modern hotel with a large car park, situated just across the road from the Hatfield Galleria shopping centre; convenient for the A1(M). The room was well equipped with flat screen TV and good bathroom; the bed was quite soft. Check in was excellent – luckily the Receptionist warned me about the noisy function and moved us to a... more

Beales Hotel has a very good designed interieur. There are modern paintings in the rooms and on the floors. Unfortunally the area around is very boring (motorway, shopping mall, business park but no much green, no pubs). The breakfast was good, local products, self backed brown bread. But i had to wait to long for coffea and eggs. I'ts not... more

stayed at the Beales for 1 night in January while away with work. Check in was painless but finding the room was a bit difficult due to ultra modern tiny tiny signs! but not an issue really. Room was a soft lilac colour with built in wardrobes and flat screen tv. Soft lighting also meant the room was very restful,... more

We have just come back from staying at this hotel and cannot rate it highly enough. The artwork is amazing and makes the hotel stand out in the crowd. As we were visiting family in the area we did not plan to eat dinner in the hotel but a look at the menu tempted us and we were not dissapointed.... more
