Not a lot to say that hasn't been said before: stayed in Holly Cottage; everything we could need; friendly and helpful; extended the stay...no trouble despite our personnel changing! The amazing Tram Inn is literally next door...real ale and excellent food.

We booked all the accommodation at Arboyne House for our family of seven and it was the perfect place to stay as we were attending a wedding near by. The house is delightful and has everything you need although a minor drawback was the traffic noise from the main road! There is a post office and general shop opposite that... More

We booked a room for a wedding nearby. We were not asked for payment at the time or given any booking reference. When ringing near the time to confirm check in times, there was no record of our booking and they were then fully booked. Lucky we didn't just turn up on the day! BEW ARE. Check your booking carefully... More

Whilst we would be more than willing to apologise to this client if she has indeed been treated badly we are both sure that this must have been a misunderstanding of some sort. The fact is that we have never had a double-booking situation in our seven years here, and I am quite sure that we have had no call to... I have stayed in many little cottages in the past and this by far, blows them all out of the water! We called Marysia on the Wednesday night, to arrive Friday and she was so accommodating. We stayed in the bakehouse, which when we got there we were greeted with homemade bread, cream and jam which was fresh out of... More

We do hope that you can extend your stay on your next visit and we can direct you to some of our favourite walks and picnic spots. A visit to Hay Bluff is a must. We have a cool box, picnic set and chairs for our guest to use, or you could try a bike ride into Hay. More

Lovely welcome by Marysia and Peter with home made soda bread, jam, ginger cake and given home grown produce during our stay! Spent a week at The Bakehouse, self catering cottage, sleeps 2 - comfortable, quiet and well equipped. Lots of information about what to do and also suggestions from Marysia and Peter about where to visit. Delicious food next... More

Returned to Arboyne House for a quick weekend away in May. As always we had a lovely time. Marysia and Pete made us very welcome and although we were booked in for B&B we were put into the Bakehouse for both nights - thus effectively having a little apartment all of our own along with the benefits of Marysia's fabulous... We stayed in Holly Lodge for a week in Aug 2011, in the 3 bdrm cottage which is part of Arboyne House - with a teenage daughter and an adult son. This surpassed all our expectations! We wanted historic and quaint, and we certainly got it, but with enough room so that we weren't on top of each other. The... More

We found this B & B by accident but would certainly recommend families and couples seeking out this quaint little village of Eardisley in Herefordshire. We found the Arboyne House with it's seperate two story cottage very roomy complete with full kitchen and lounge with fireplace. The owners treated us like family and provided us with a beautiful breakfast and... More
