We stayed one night in room 4 - it is a gorgeous room and we had a good nights sleep. The room and pub is exceptionally clean. We had a 3 course evening meal and breakfast - all of which was delicious. Stuart and Jo are great hosts and made us very welcome. Definitely recommend this place and we hope... More

The Crown & Sceptre is a great place for a drink or meal. Very friendly staff and well recommended. Always happy to help customers and nice surroundings. Great place for couples or families to stay and enjoy the local area.

When travelling on business I needed to find a rest place as I was flagging after a busy day, so decided to stop at the next populated village/town and came to Bromyard. Having looked a 2 nearby run down B&Bs I came to this lovely place. The welcome was homely and I instantly felt relaxed and was taken a back... More

What a great Pub. the accommodation was updated clean and comfortable the food was great 2 for 1 offer on at the time. The Landlord and Lady were very friendly who showed me around the very large function room at the back and outdoor garden area that I'm sure flourishes during the summer I will certainly be visiting again.

We've stayed at the Crown and Sceptre several times now when visiting Bromyard and have enjoyed each stay. Laura is friendly and efficient as are the staff. The rooms are clean, pleasant and reasonably priced and you get a decent breakfast with real coffee. The beer is Wye Valley - nice. The rerrace and garden at the back have superb... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights with friends and found it to be a nice welcoming pub with good clean rooms that were furnished to a good standard. There were no functions on when we were there, and we had no complaints at all. excellent value.

Stopped for one night on business. The room was clean and spacious which was fine for a one night stay. I was disturbed at 3am by a delivery truck to the hotel which pulled up right outside my window. Being on the front of the hotel resulted in me being disturbed by early morning traffic. There is a street light... More

Stayed over during Hop Festival. The room was spacious, clean, cosy and had one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on. En suite was basic but good shower. This is an elderly building so the floors and walls are uneven and the ceilings sometimes low! All adds to the charm though. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The... More

We have been for lunch approx. 3/4 times. First time for an evening meal. We come back because good food, very reasonable prices, efficient friendly service, lovely well kept pints ( have not tried their wines). So what is our gripe, music , very loud music. We moved to the back of the dining room to escape the loudspeaker. I... More
