If you like Fawlty Towers you're going to love this place!! The hotel: Filled with character and dates back to the 17th Century, Don't worry though it's probably had two or three refurbishments since then. Room, Spacey and really easy to find with a compass and map. There was a wonderful shower that was very powerful and included two temperature... More

Well where do I start. The land lady was the most un polite, obstructive person I have ever come across. If you would like a SS themed stay, this is the place. She was abrupt and rood. All the way through the evening she was horrid but what surpassed every thing was her conduct at break fast. I asked for... More

Nice hotel and pleasand family run business. Full of character the owners were polite and friendly and we kept one of them up too late in the bar the night we stayed. Rooms were clean and shower facilities were adequate. This is an old building so dont expect it to be perfect. The floors slope in the rooms, or was... More

We held my husbands 60th birthday lunch (for 43 people) in November and our friend loved it so much she had her 60th birthday weekend here last weekend. From our arrival on Friday to departure after Sunday lunch were made to feel welcome by Sylvia, John and Craig. The hotel is comfortable if a little tried but the food is... More

This hotel is run by a couple who really know how the hotel business. It is clean as a whistle, the food is plentiful, simple and very well cooked (the home-made bread is fantastic) and the service is friendly and individual. It's very characterful, comfortable and atmospheric. Highly recommended.

Beautiful building, staff lovely and friendly. HOWEVER, the owner (Sylvie?) needs to retire I'm afraid :( On our arrival, (1.45pm) we asked whether we could order food? "Yes, if you're quick, we're tired and are nearly closing" Okaay, the place looked clean and so give her (the owner) the benefit of the doubt. Went into the bar as instructed, and... More

Well. What a place. Not a flat floor or straight wall. I love it. However this is the most bizarre hotel I've ever experienced. Fawlty towers has been mentioned before and it's so true. This place is marmite you love it or hate it. Except me it's growing on me!!! An experience I definitely wouldn't change but not certain I... More

A friend has just moved into Bromyard and had the most awful story to tell about this hotel but I persuaded her to go back again with us and give it another try. She was right! Rude, obnoxious and just downright awful customer service. But we howled with laughter, you just could not make it up. Our story would take... More

We called into Bromyard for lunch on a Monday and found The Falcon open and taking orders for bar snacks. we ordered Lasagne with salad, it was delicious. The salad was very colorful and was dressed with a tasty dressing, the lasagne was a large slice, was home made, the meal came with a basket of beautiful assorted fresh bread... More
