My friend and I once again visited the Falcon for lunch today. There was a new lunch menu on offer and we chose grilled aubergine and feta and pea frittata but there was a wide choice of the sandwiches and jackets for those wanting something simpler. The meal was amazing, super tasty and the portions are large. We had delicious... More

Only stayed here once which was fine. Living locally I spend a lot of time here during the day and evenings. It is indeed unique and fantastic. Food is wonderful, plentiful and very cheap for the quality that it is. Proper well kept beer and cider. Anyone who doesn't get the owners hasn't got a sense of humour.

this is one of the most beautiful hotels in this country , unique and fantastic . two of the nicest people ever run it with great staff. now read the others and it has oddities but its a once in a life time thing . a truly beautiful building and two magical owners . always a warm welcome. just love... Came here for Sunday lunch, food was nice and the portions were very generous. Agree with some of the comments on here regarding the owner (the wife). Not a very pleasant person at all. Would have been a higher rating if it wasn't for her.

I organised a social evening with a meal at this Hotel. The food was superb, staff very good at their job and obviously well trained. The whole ambience was delightful. The group voted it was the best meal out for some time

We had a lovely 3 days here. The owners are wonderful and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Very nice breakfasts. Long climb to the attic rooms! The hotel is certainly in the middle of Bromyard and allows access to all the activities and events available in this nice little town. Obviously great weather adds to any occasions. In such an... The Falcon is a charming Tudor building, all sloping floors & ceilings, rooms are odd shapes and sizes. The hosts are equally charming and equally eccentric, though I would reject the "Fawlty Towers" analogy - 'Mine Host' John is far too genial and laid back to be tagged as Basil! Everything works, more or less as one might expect, though... More

We stayed for one night after a wedding in the area. The family room was at the very top of the building so wouldn't be suitable for disabled vistors. The building is fascinating- full of old beams and winding staircases but some areas are a little tired and worn. A typically creaky B&B bed was balanced out by a reasonable... More

An overnighter at The Falcon reintroduced me to the town I grew up in. It's a classic old inn with suitably quirky proprietors who made a refreshing change from the groomed corporate types in most hotels. My room, while small (but then I booked small) was perfectly adequate. The shower and loo worked. It might not have been the most... More

We stayed for two nights and brought our large dog. We were made very welcome and couldn't fault the treatment of the dog. There were several cats around the lounge area which frightened our dog although they totally ignored her! Our room had 'dog' accommodation in the form of a raised area attached to the bathroom. The room had lovely... More
