We spent a lovely night at Pepperbox house. Very comfortable bed and Jane provided the most wonderful breakfast- fresh fruit/, homemade bread and jam and great quality 'fry up'. Quirky and friendly, we enjoyed our stay immensley. Jane and Polly

It is always a mistake to judge anything in absolute terms, rather than by their own merits, so we don't judge bees because they can only make honey - what, not bread? Sausage & Mash perhaps? and so Pepperbox must be judged by its own lights, which are charm, age, and hosting. Mrs Jane Skinner is attentive, but not intrusive;... More

Pepperbox House is a must for anyone interested in visiting Beaulieu and the New Forest. The location is excellent, the house oozes quintessential English charm, the gardens are lovely, the rooms wonderfully comfortable and Jane (the owner) couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. But it is the food that we will most remember: homemade bread and preserves, stewed fruit, organic... More

I booked my mother-in-law to stay in this lovely old characterful property.low beams & quirky property.the owner Jane was very accommodating and made us a fantastic breakfast so we could join our relative.you must try the compote,the sausages are from the local butchers.plently of tea and delicious cafetiere of coffee. She was really helpful and knowledgeable about the local area.
