I'm annoyed. The carvery used to be great but this time not so good. Carrots were ridiculously under cooked as were the broccoli stalks and cauliflower heads. The meat wasn't amazing and the overall dinner was not that great. Very average. Disappointed. Big queue when we arrived too.

Average rooms but what stands this hotel apart is the fantastic customer service and excellent food. The food is hot and the menu has some great choices on it to suit most appetites and tastes. Well done guys on your service, there are some hospitality venues that could certainly take a leaf out of your book.

I paid £100 to stay here, the room decor was shocking, wallpaper falling off, dirty marked wall, poor quality furniture and furnishings and a broken shower. The only good thing about this hotel are the staff, in particular the barman who was on checkout this morning and the breakfast waiter were very good at their jobs and deserve to work... More

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, with friendly and efficient staff making us feel very welcome. Excellent value, and very comfortable rooms, with lovely bathrooms. Food available all day, which is lovely.

We stayed on a two night really inexpensive deal and are really pleased we did. Is this place excellent by 5 star standards - of course it's not and doesn't try to be. Our room was spacious, warm and had pleasant views overlooking the gardens. The bed was both huge and comfortable. All staff were unfailingly friendly and enthusiastic. It's... More

Excellent Value for Money, Good Pub Style Food with friendly staff. Comfy beds and hot showers. Good location for visiting Salisbury, Winchester and Wimbourne. We are unable to find anything bad to say about this hotel all as overall we were very satisfied and pleased with our stay.

What a super hotel. All staff wonderfully friendly and efficient. Food excellent. Breakfast first class and good evening meal choices. Bedrooms clean and warm but in need of decoration. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Staff seemed very happy and nothing too much trouble.

Stayed at the St Leonards Hotel with a group of friends and I cannot understand some of the rather spiteful reviews on these pages. No, of course it is not a 5 star West End of London hotel but it is a very good 3 star hotel with good staff, a pleasant atmosphere and perfectly acceptable food. Rooms are all... More

My wife and I recently had Sunday lunch at this hotel. On arrival anyone could have mistaken the restaurant had been decorated for Halloween. Cobwebs adorned the walls and ceiling the restaurant area appeared never to have had the luxury of a duster being passed across any of the surfaces and the food scattered across the floor would have kept... A review of two halves. The rooms; big beds, comfortable, clean and overall very nice. The pub/resturant; dire need of completely gutting. The carpets were threadbare, paintwork peeling and chipped, they have different ideas to clean to the hotel maids. Both mornings while eating breakfast there were crisps and food on the floor from the night before. The breakfast was... More
