We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was a little tired in places, the grounds also looked in need of some TLC. The room was clean and everything worked as it should. The busy road did not spoil our sleep, that was due to people who can't shut a door quietly! Breakfast was pretty average, we found the service... More

Stopped here for evening meal with the family as they were doing 2 mains for £10. The restaurant was welcoming and the staff were attentative. The meals themselves were tasty, however my partner did think the portions were on the small side. My mixed grill was ok, but was let down by chop not being cooked which was hilighted to... More

We enjoyed our two night break and felt that for the £52 we paid for bed and breakfast it was very good value. Despite being located on a dual carriageway, at no time did we hear traffic noise. Our room was pleasant and clean with doors out onto the garden. The bed was huge and very comfortable. After having dinner... More

Went into this hotel for lunch at 12.15 pm tables not laid no menus on tables, and to make things worse the carpet was dirty with left overs from day before like food, we like to go to this hotel as near to home but no more really put me off this is the second time this has happened

the staff were friendly, and breakfast was adequate. The bedrooms however were pretty awful. Old, and in need of a total referb. You could smell damp in the room and corridors I certainly wouldn't stay there again. Other friends stayed across the road in the new Premier Inn, think they got the better deal, cheaper and much nicer.

Stayed overnight for a family party with a set 3 course meal and wine. Staff very friendly and did all they could to make it a special evening. Service was smooth and the function room excellent. The bedroom was clean, tidy and quiet with a nice outlook over the back lawn area which is the summer must be wonderful. Would... More

Stopped for lunch on our way to Southampton, passed it many times but never stopped. So we stopped this trip went in and ordered our lunch, only wraps as were eating out later. The staff were very friendly and more than helpful but the food took an age to turn up. Portions were very meager for the price and the... More

This is now our second visit to this hotel, and it was a cheap online deal. We stayed in room 107, ground floor family room, with double doors out onto the front which was easy to get luggage in. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and despite the fact there seemed to be a lot of trainees, everything was as... Very very slow service, staff chatting without concern of-customers. Food took over 1 hour to arrive and starter were forgotten about. When food did arrive it was dry and bread was stale looked like it was sitting for a long time. Expensive and not very good. Decor is nice but that's about it.
