The food was good except the roast potatoes which were soggy, food served on cold plates, but otherwise tasty and good value. Less to our liking was the poor house keeping, table not being all that well wiped down, the high chair was filthy, we had to wet wipe it down before putting our little boy in it. Also in... More

The night started well, the bar staff are friendly and the locals very chatty! After ordering food from the 2 meals for £9.99 menu along with a starter at just £2.50 extra(excellent value) we were told there was a 25-30 minute delay on food. This is not a problem as the restaurant is busy and we were in no rush... More

This is a decent hotel in a convenient location, at the side of the A31 and close to Bournemouth. It is in need of some TLC though it is clean and the room I occupied was spotless though 'tired'. The room was large with a super king size bed, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, large wardrobe and... More

Friendly staff, very busy restaurant at dinner with good food, large but basic room in need of a thorough refurbishment, too many spiders! Breakfast was limited but acceptable. Low room rate. Free WiFi is good!

I grew up in this area and this is my uncle "local pub". We live in hastings and went to this hotel for food twice. The food was amazing and cheap (2 meals £10) and drinks were reasonable to. The service was good, a bit on slow side even on quiet night that "wait" for the bill you get in... More

Quaint hotel in a very convienient location on the A31. Staff are very frendly. Food is good. Beds are good. There is access for less able. The ground floor rooms are a few steps up from the reception area, but there is a special lift to get you there. There are rooms on the first floor, but no lift that... More

Like many of the 'Old English Inns' chain, this hotel is a bit shabby and in need of some TLC. There seems to be so much unrealised potential about it. Having said that, it is clean and comfortable and extremely good value for money. Our room on the ground floor had access to the garden and was cool (the weather... More

Having just moved to the area, my partner and I needed to find a new local. We stumbled across the St Leonard's and are glad we did. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly (always) and no matter how busy they are- will always take the time to ask how we are and what they can do to help. Value for money... More

The staff are great can't fault them, rooms clean but very dated , wall paper pealing off paintwork and fixtures needing attention. Reasonably priced room but...... Awful food , we have visited most years in the last ten years and I was very disapointed this year. The food is very expensive for what it is and not good quality ,... More

As locals we always take our visitors for a meal at St Leonards Hotel. We are of course a bit biased as we got married there 13 years ago. The service was great then and its great now. Don't be afraid to book this great hotel for accommodation or a good meal. If our home is overcrowded we always book... More
