Moortown Lodge is spotlessly clean....I didn't have English breakfast, but my husband did, it was overcooked on 3 mornings and very nice on the 4th morning....the room we were given was on the ground floor and really needed to be improved, the window was only two feet from a very busy main road and the traffic hurtling past was constant...there... We stayed at the Moortown Lodge for 4 nights as a combined buissiness trip-holiday. The room was exellent as it had a bath, which was a priority for us. It was clean, fresh and light. Breakfast was more than enough and well prepared, with good coffee. Ringwood is small but with enough choices for food and drink. It is also... More

My wife booked Moortown Lodge as their website gave a strong impression that it was in the heart of Ringwood. It isn't.. It's a good mile and a half/ 20 min walk along the busy main road to the town centre for an evening meal. That meant we had to drive everywhere as it rained every day. The parking is... More

We booked the family room for one night. We were returning from a weeks holiday in Wales and so it was a one night stop in the new forest before our journey home. An added bonus was the David lloyd as their neighbour as we are members so a swim in the outdoor pool was fab before settling in to... More

The sort of b&b you organise your route for. Warm, friendly hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble, luxurious surroundings and a great breakfast with the town centre just a few minutes walk away. Will definitely return.

July 2013 was a hot month in S. England, Moortown Lodge is not good in hot weather,no A.C ( forgiveable) lack of ventilation and poor capacity fans - not so. Mind you being right on a busy road where the traffic can be felt as well as heard opening windows would probably add to the discomfort rather than ease it.... More

The title says it all. Nice people average accommodation. Lucky to have the David Lloyd next door for some additional entertainment or exercise. Not too long a walk in to town. Car parking good. ................

I stayed here for 4 nights with my elderley parents, the hosts were very welcoming and lovely comfotable rooms with little touches like bottled water in the roon and lovlely dressing gowns to wear, also fans in the room which were really handy as we had a mini heatwave. the breakfast was delicious and a lot of choice. the ground... My husband chose the Moortown Lodge as a surprise for our 25 Wedding anniversary. The Moortown Lodge was wonderful. From the moment we stepped through the door we had the most fantastic welcome, service and experience. Everything about the Lodge was great, the room was fresh, very clean and they seemed to have thought of everything you need. When we... More
