We went here with trepidation as we had read some bad reviews, we arrived to be meg by a pleasant receptionist who took us up to our room, lots of stairs up and down, the room was clean, comfortable and not too small, it was No 10 the only down side was the frosted glass so you couldn't see out... Lovely food freshly prepared, no pre packed rubbish, I had the belly pork, cooked to perfection the Mrs had the game burger, probably the nicest burger we have ever tried. The menu was inviting leaving us wondering what the rest tasted like? Very attentive staff and a varied wine list, definitely stay again next time we are that way

Room was clean, tidy ect.. Deco is modern/ish! Not clinical like some other hotels! Scenery is pretty cute.. Horses close by and the local town centre a 5 min walk away! Would highly recommend the budgens trolly service! Saved me a drunken walk home from the towns kebab shop!! Although it will cost you a £1! Service was good.. Apart... More

We paid £65 via booking.com for our double room ( no4), and it,s vastly overpriced. After having now stayed here for one night, our first impressions have proved correct. The staircase leading up to the hotel rooms is grim, dark and tattily decorated, dark and winding staircase leading to gloomy hallways which didn,t bode well. We booked here on the... More

Nice hotel, good food, bit of a noisy room Do not miss the Ferrari dealership and Maserati at the end of High Street Saw Alice Liddell grave, (Alice in Wonderland girl) lyndhurts is a great little place, full of charity shops, a lovely Indian restarant and great pubs, New Forest on doorstep, we also visited Beaulieu which though quite pricey... When we booked online it stated that the rooms had been refurbished. I think room 4 must have been left out! It was very uninviting and dismal due to the small frosted window which didn,t open fully, although this was just as well as the only view was a flat roof. The central heating was extremely noisy so we in... More

Stayed in a small double (8).They describe this as "bright and airy", however it was more dark, dreary and claustrophobic.. The windows were frosted glass and covered by net curtains. The wooden frames could do with a good clean and the windows only open an inch. They are single glazed which does nothing to stop the noises from the yard... More

Lyndhurst was where the girl who inspired Lewis Carol's Alice in Wonderland lived and it is that kind of place, quirky and charming. The bedrooms are large and spacious, the bed in my room was at least a king size. Lovely bathroom with high quality Villeroy and Bosch fittings, nice size bath. £59.00 for the night and in the morning... More

Although not the best hotel we have stayed in (but then again not the most expensive either) the White Rabbit is a good option for a weekend in Lyndhurst. The location is excellent and our room had an amazing shower and free wi-fi. We did have a few issues during our stay, which, if they had not been attended to... More
