Wonderful house with lots of space. The bedroom was quite large and had a king sized bed and the bathroom was enormous. It was a refreshing change to feel comfortable and not cramped (I am over 6 foot tall). Whilst this was a last minute booking everything was ready for arrival and the owner Mike was most helpful on our... More

A lovely room in an amazing house, immaculately cared for by the owners Mike and Teresa. Comfortable bed and a tasty and beautifully presented breakfast . A truly relaxing weekend in this B & B. Perfectly positioned close to all the shops and restaurants and within the New Forest.

We were welcomed by the owners Mike and Teresa, they spent time discussing the local attractions showing us the facilities and then on to our room, a nice big room with tea, coffee, biscuits and mints a nice touch. the bathroom was large the shower was strong, the only down... Close to lovely New Forest picturesque villages which offered plenty of restaurants, pubs and tea rooms to choose from. We will definitely be looking to stay at Temple... More

This is a lovely B & B but cyclists are not welcome. It is extremely clean, lovely rooms and efficient -Theresa, the owner was polite, helpful and informative. When we pulled onto the gravel drive with our two road bikes strapped to the car roof, we were greeted with a hostile look from a man who we thought was the... More

"CYCLISTS ARE VERY WELCOME" We provide secure bike storage, maps and advice where to cycle safely. Unfortunately this reviewer did not appreciate this as all of the above were offered to them. The look of horror was mistaken for a look of surprise as they emerged from their car in very brightly coloured Lycra cycling attire, very strange and most... More

The accommodation is first class, the furniture and fittings exceptional. The beds and bed linen were incredible. The breakfast included local bacon and sausages and could not be bettered. We observed an earlier review criticising the owner's hospitality and can only assume this was a competitor writing as our experience was of friendly helpful hosts with nothing too much trouble.... We were a group of 3 friends spending 2 nights. A very convenient location for exploring the New Forest and walking distance to restaurants, pubs and shops. It is however situated on what can be a very busy road. The property was immaculate, well looked after and very clean. Would recommend hiring bicycles from Lyndhurst. Breakfast was plentiful. Couple running... More
