Very welcoming hosts, couldn't do enough for us, very helpful and knowledable about local attractions. Accomodation was spotless (and my wife notices these things) and very comfortable, a true home from home. Have to mention the breakfast as it could be a contender for "best in Britain", clearly the chef uses the best quality food and cooked it to perfection... more

We have just returned from Temple Lodge after a short break. Very comfortable and friendly place, spotlessly clean with some nice touches. Well stocked mini bar in room at reasonable prices, large fluffy towels, biscuits and chocolates on the hospitality tray. Comfy bed with cotton bedding, lots of cushions etc.Breakfasts delicious, lots of choice, lovely fresh fruit salad, hot food... more

Temple Lodge is a clean and friendly bed and breakfast. There is some slight traffic noise in the front bedrooms and the mini fridge disturbed my sleep but my wife slept well. I did miss only having a shower as I prefer a nice deep bath. The breakfasts were excellent (cooked by Mike ). Mike and Theresa gave us good... more

Having read the previous reviews I decided to try this b & b. I have stayed at several others in Lyndhurst before, but this is by far the best. I had a double room with a king size bed, a sofa, a minibar fridge, etc etc. Everything you could want was here. The couple running it are excellent. Mike cooked... more

We tend to go for boutique hotels when stating away from home, and having never stayed in a B&B before I was quite apprehensive. However, I need not have been because what I found at Temple Lodge was very impressive. The hosts, Theresa and Mike were very welcoming on arrival. The building is very large and spacious, very tidy and... more

We stayed at The Temple Lodge Guest House this weekend as we went to the New Forest to do some cycling practice for a long ride we're doing in May. Unfortunately the cycling was rained off but we had a great stay. We arrived on Friday evening after a particularly bad week at work and our woes were quickly forgotten... more

Temple lodge is a lovely guest house in the heart of the New Forest. It was easy to get to by car and also by rail. It's situated conviniently 5 minutes walk from the centre of Lyndhurst where there are restaurants, pubs, a supermarket and various other shops. The actual guesthouse was well decorated, our room was a good size... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Temple Lodge B&B over Easter. We had read many of the reviews on trip advisor before we went, and they are definatly correct this place is great! Its located right on the edge of the New Forest and Lyndhurst. Its only a 5 minute walk to the lovely town of Lyndhurst. Mike and... more

My partner and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Temple Lodge Guest House in Lyndhurst. What a find this place is! Mike and Teresa are very warm and welcoming, with great knowledge of the New Forest (ie. recommendations). The whole building was spotless, our room was at the back of the house on the top... more
