I stayed here for 2 nights in July. It is located in a quiet part of town so it is fantastic for uninterrupted good night sleep. The hosts were very welcoming and provided useful information about the area. The breakfast was very tasty and I really liked Mel's homemade jums. Definately worth a visit.

We stayed at Acorns for 2 nights in July and it was lovely. We stayed in Teal room, very comfortable, and breakfast was cooked just the way we liked it. A real 'home from home' in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

We absolutely loved our stay at this B&B. Mel & Fred were so welcoming and they have a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom had a lovely roll top bath and a double power shower. Breakfast was all freshly cooked to order and was delicious, (Mel's homemade jams are a must... More

Myself and my 7-year old daughter stayed here recently sadly just for 1 night. Everything about the stay was just as it should be - comfortable, clean, welcoming. Mel and Fred made us feel at home and it was a great place to explore the new forest. We stayed in Alium and loved the free-standing bath and large shower. It's... More

Thank you for kind review and I'm so pleased that you and your daughter enjoyed your stay with us. I hope all went well with her visit and maybe we'll see you both back again soon. I will have to make some more Starwberry & Lavender for her as I've ran out now :) More

We stayed for one night over the Bank holiday on the strength of the Tripadvisor reviews. It's ALL TRUE!! This is a superb B&B. Ideal location, quiet, spacious rooms, knowledgeable and extremely welcoming hosts who serve a fabulous breakfast. We bought Mel out of eggs and jam and are going to make this a regular stop-off. Brilliant.

Thank you so much for your fab review it really is very appreciated. As you are a jam connoisseur I'm really glad that you liked my humble homemade preserves. I have even made some more Clementine Marmalade especially for you when you come back, plus a few new flavours for you to try. We hope to see again soon :) More

Myself and two friends stayed at this B&B in 2012 when visiting friends in the Lyndhurst area it's location is perfect for the High Street and all it has to offer. The accomodation was clean, comfortable and the hosts are very welcoming. Just this week my son and his new wife travelled to the New Forest for a short break.... More

Acorns of Lyndhurst is conveniently located down a nice quiet road within 2 minutes walk from the town centre. We were greeted by Fred when we arrived and received a very warm welcome. The bedroom was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. With a large bed and sofa and a very large en suite bathroom with old style roll top bath... More

Thank you for your glowing review, I am just pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. I absolutely love the comment "sugary magic in a jar" about my jam - I think I will have to use that for re-naming one of the jams, like we said. We hope that you will make it back again sometime More

We were well looked after by Mel and Fred during our stay at the B & B. The room was very spacious with an ensuite, which included a huge bath and a shower. The room had tea and coffee making facilities and was very well decorated and very clean. There was also ample cupboard space. An added bonus is that... More

Fred and Mel took great care of us. Mel's a great cook and was very accommodating (I'm vegetarian and gluten-free). Her homemade jam is excellent and is worth the stay all on its own. The bathroom was gorgeous and warm, and the bathtub was great after a long day of cycling. The room (Allium) was big and spacious too. Fred... More

Thank you very much for a such a great review. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us, but especially the breakfast. My jam appears to be boardering on becoming famous lol. We hope that you enjoyed your visit to the New Forest enough to maybe come back again someday. More

We just enjoyed a wonderful two nights at the Acorns , hosted By Mel and Fred, two of the most lovely B&B owners, we have ever chanced to meet. Their helpfulness started before we even arrived with the booking, which we struggled with doing on line. Fred organized to email us so we could arrange payment of the deposit, plus... More

Thank you so much for your lovely review, I am almost speechless. It's always lovely to hear that our efforts have been appreciated but I am a little overwhelmed about the response to my simple jams. It's an absolute pleasure to accommodate such lovely, friendly and easy going guests and we certainly would love to see you come back again... More
